Wrist pain can be misleading.
A patient may point to the thumb side of the wrist, and the first thought is often De Quervain’s. But sometimes, the real problem sits a little higher in the forearm.
That small difference in location can change the whole diagnosis.
In hand and wrist conditions, I find that the patient’s story, the exact pain point, and the movement that triggers symptoms often give the most important clues.
The right diagnosis helps avoid unnecessary treatment and gets the patient back to work, sport, and daily movement with more confidence.
A PRP injection can support the treatment plan, but it should never be treated as a stand-alone solution.
The knee still needs time, guidance, and the right loading pattern after the injection.
Many patients are eager to return to the gym, running, or sport quickly, but the better approach is to rebuild step by step and watch how the knee responds.
Recovery is not passive.
It needs structure.
Regenerative medicine should never be presented as a shortcut.
A painful arthritic knee needs proper assessment before discussing PRP, stem cells, or surgery.
The aim is not to follow a trend.
The aim is to choose the option that can realistically help that knee.
That is the difference between offering treatment and offering the right treatment.
Introducing a new identity built around the same purpose
Helping patients heal better, move freely, and trust their body again.
Heal. Restore. Renew.
The quiet work before surgery is where precision begins.
A ganglion cyst may look concerning, especially when it appears clearly on the wrist.
But visibility alone does not decide treatment.
In hand surgery, the more important questions are:
Is it painful?
Is it limiting wrist movement?
Is grip affected?
Has it returned repeatedly?
Some cysts can simply be observed. Others may need aspiration or removal, depending on symptoms, location, and how the wrist is functioning.
The decision should be based on the wrist, not only the lump.
Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release
A minimally invasive technique through a small incision that allows precise decompression of the median nerve while minimizing tissue disruption.
✅ Less postoperative pain
✅ Faster recovery and return to daily activities
✅ No cast or immobilization required
✅ No routine physiotherapy needed
✅ Excellent cosmetic result
Modern surgery focused on one goal: restoring function quickly, safely, and effectively.
Regenerative medicine is often spoken about as if it can solve every problem.
In reality, it needs the same discipline as any other medical decision: clear diagnosis, proper patient selection, evidence, and realistic expectations.
Some patients may benefit. Some may not be suitable at all.
That distinction matters.
One of the biggest mistakes I see with tennis elbow is continuing the same activities that triggered the problem in the first place.
The tendon needs time and the right conditions to recover. When symptoms persist despite appropriate conservative care, there are other options that may help support tendon healing.
Watch the reel to understand how I approach tennis elbow treatment in clinical practice.
