The Lyno Method
We achieve this by accessing the autonomic nervous system through breathing and awareness.
The Lyno Method is a complementary health modality that identifies and removes fascia restrictions in the body to restore movement and break chronic pain patterns. Visit our website www.thelynomethod.com to source a practitioner near you, or to find out details on upcoming courses.

It's not the technique you're missing. It's the pattern.
If your clients keep coming back with the same pain — different session, same complaint — conventional therapy is very likely treating the site of the pain, not the source of the pattern behind it.
The Lyno Online Course teaches physios, biokineticists and movement coaches how to find that pattern and work with the fascia and nervous system together to resolve it — not just manage it.
Starts 28 September. CPD-accredited with HPCSA and internationally, and trusted by 100+ practitioners worldwide.

I stayed at Hugo’s camp 3 years ago and this is where I would like to teach the first Lyno course for sport therapists, in Iten, the village where champions are made! DM me if you are interested.

I have spent 2 wonderful ‘seasons’ in Iten. The first was at Hugo’s (in the video below) camp and the next was a 2 month period renting a private house in the village, and focussing on working with injured Kenyan athletes. Both these experiences were extraordinary, just watching how motivated these athletes are, and how devastating when they get injured, and with no resources to get out of their injury patterns.
It has been my dream to teach a Lyno course in Iten, gathering a few sport therapists together and while teaching them how to detect and resolve injury patterns, also to offer Lyno to local injured athletes.
Such a course would involve some online teaching before and then joining me for a condensed course over a period of 10 days in Iten, including some work on local athletes and of course some training sessions with Kenyans if you happen to be a runner.
DM me if you will be interested in joining such a course.

Join our FREE WEBINAR on Tuesday 14 July at 7pm (SA) and find out how we approach chronic pain and recurring injuries through the lens of the NERVOUS SYSTEM.
Benita, founder of the Lyno Method, will demonstrate how we use our Lyno app to record the BUNKIE TEST which give us the information of your client’s core activation and balance.
We then apply the digital goniometer to measure the full body fascia mobility and then use algorithms to show up your client’s injury patterns- the cause of chronic pain and recurring injuries.
LYNO has moved away from manual fascia release, and we now use specific breathing, combined with movement and proprioception cueing to create new neural pathways and remove injury patterns in the brain, where they are stored.
Join us on this webinar to learn how this approach can give you the missing link in your practice and movement studio.

Your chronic pain clients are not failing to heal.
Their nervous system is still bracing - and that is a different problem entirely.
Join my free webinar on Tuesday 14 July and find out how a different approach and framework can change your results in a blink.

Please note that the LYNO COURSE JOHANNESBURG aimed at movement coaches, physios, bios and occupational therapists, will now start one month later, on 15 August.
This course has 61 CPD points and teaches a framework to resolve chronic pain and recurring injuries at the core with a non-invasive technique channeling the nervous system!
No more symptomatic treatment that does not work!

Become the go-to practitioner!
The shoulder that does not respond to treatment is almost never a shoulder problem.
This is one of the most consistent findings in thirty years of clinical practice and it still surprises practitioners when they see it for the first time. A client with chronic right shoulder pain who has had every local treatment available, strengthening, manual therapy, dry needling, cortisone, sometimes surgery, and the pain keeps returning. Because nobody has looked at what the shoulder is compensating for.
In Lyno our full body mobility assessment evaluates the complete spiral line from the neck through the scapula, the arm, the trunk and down through the opposite hip. We almost always find the primary restriction somewhere entirely removed from the shoulder itself. A locked hip rotation. Restricted trunk rotation to one side. A spiral pattern through the arm that has been compensating for a restriction elsewhere for months or years.
The shoulder is overworking because something else stopped working first. And because the nervous system is maintaining the entire pattern as a protective response, local treatment will provide temporary relief but the pattern will always reload.
When we release the full pattern and give the nervous system a reason to stop bracing, the shoulder pain resolves. Not because we treated the shoulder. Because we found what it was compensating for.
That is the difference between chasing symptoms and finding causes.
Join me for a free online workshop in June where I show you exactly how we assess the full spiral line and what it reveals about chronic shoulder pain.
