God wants you to know that pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.

Pain is the reaction of the body, and as long as you have the body, some pain is inevitable.

Suffering is the contraction of the mind and, unlike pain, is optional. Don't add suffering to pain; relax your mind, and the suffering will pass.

God wants you to know that faith in yourself will see you through.

You are strong and can deal with anything that life throws at you. Take a deep breath and be filled with the knowledge that you can handle all things.

We often chase after success, relationships, and pleasures, hoping they’ll bring fulfillment, but they often leave us empty. King Solomon, who had it all, found life “under the sun” to be ultimately meaningless without God.

In Ecclesiastes, he wrote, "Vanity of vanities! All is vanity" (Ecclesiastes 1:2), comparing earthly pursuits to chasing the wind.

Solomon's wisdom is clear: life without God leads to emptiness. Our efforts, possessions, and pleasures are fleeting. True fulfillment comes only when God is at the center. "Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man" (Ecclesiastes 12:13).

We can still enjoy life’s blessings—family, work, and recreation—but they shouldn’t be our ultimate source of joy. Jesus said, “Apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:5). Only with God do even small things take on eternal significance.

What is God calling you to surrender today? Let go of temporary pursuits and seek a deeper relationship with Him, finding the fullness of life He promises.

UNDERSTANDING COMES FROM LOVE.
You need
to love
to understand.

God wants you to know that a successful relationship requires falling in love many times, always with the same person.

Always with the same person, but deeper and deeper every time. Each time, on a whole new level, you together open in love and discover the truth of your beloved anew. There is no limit to the beauty of your beloved. If you think you've reached the end, stop generalizing.

God wants you to know that when you are in doubt, stop and listen.

There is not one question in your life on which God is not ready to give you guidance. All you have to do is stop and listen. Listen long enough to hear.

God wants you to know that a decision is only wishful thinking until you take that first irreversible step.

You can tell yourself that you have already decided, that nothing now can stop you, but if that step backward is so much safer than the step forward, what will hold you true to your path when the going gets tough?

Sometimes, the right thing to do is to take that first irreversible step, the one after which you cannot go back. And now, for you, is one of those times.

God wants you to know that everything that irritates you about others is your key to understanding yourself.

What angers you in another person is an unhealed aspect of yourself. If you had already resolved that particular issue, you would not be irritated by its reflection back at you

Whatever fills your heart with gladness is good.
Let yourself be filled.
There is much joy and beauty in the world if you only open yourself to them.

God wants you to know that it is a day of deep peace for you.

Deep peace of the running wave to you. Deep peace of the quiet earth to you. Deep peace of the flowing air to you. Deep peace of the shining star to you.
