In a world that’s becoming increasingly automated and standardized, individuality, style, and self-expression matter more than ever.
said it beautifully, and I couldn’t agree more ,this is exactly what I’ve been teaching my students for over 10 years.

What does “clean girl” even mean?
Who decides what’s clean, acceptable, or correct?
The term itself carries a strange (and honestly uncomfortable connotation).

This is also why I never did bridal masterclasses. The idea of telling women how a bride should look has never made sense to me. It’s dogma disguised as tradition. Conservatism pretending to be elegance.

You don’t need rules to be beautiful.
You don’t need permission to express yourself.
You should be free to play, to experiment, and to show up exactly as you are without apology.

Art is self-expression.
Makeup is my art.

An unplanned moment turned into art.
Met Lydia for coffee, shared an idea, and by the next day we brought it to life, mask, makeup, light, and passion.
Improvised, effortless, and full of creativity.

On Tuesday afternoon, I ran into my friend Lydia at a coffee shop and popped in to say hi.
We chatted a bit and caught up since I had just gotten back in town. I told her I was thinking about creating a Halloween makeup look and shared my inspiration and ideas. She kindly offered to photograph me.
Without hesitation, I said yes , I absolutely love her work and admire her so much as an artist.
That same Tuesday night, I made the mask, and by Wednesday afternoon, we were shooting. Lydia set up the art and lighting beautifully; the whole set was ready in 15 minutes, and it took me about 20 to finish my makeup.

This was the result of something completely unplanned ,improvised, effortless teamwork, but filled with passion and creativity to share.

I still can’t believe this. I’ve been in tears since I heard the news, and writing this feels surreal.

Ozzy Osbourne wasn’t just a legend, he was magnetic, powerful, and full of life. And I had the unforgettable honour of doing his makeup for this Mojo magazine cover. These behind-the-scenes moments are forever etched in my heart.

He was kind, warm, and had the most contagious energy. I remember how he made everyone laugh, how gentle and open he was with me. That day was magic and I’m beyond grateful I got to know even a glimpse of the man behind the music.

Thank you, Ozzy, for trusting me with your face, and for leaving your mark on the world and on my heart.

Rest easy, Prince of Darkness. You were one of a kind. 🖤🕯️
