A little behind the scenes of what you see on here...

This is just a small sampling of the physical issues I have at the moment:

🔹I have rheumatoid arthritis so my joints are always in varying degrees of pain—medication manages it fairly well but not entirely

🔹I've been having knee pain for 6 months—PT is helping, but it's not entirely better

🔹I've been having low back pain for 4 years—I've tried many different things, but nothing helps long term

🔹I've had plantar fasciitis (and some Achilles pain) for 3 years—I've tried many things, but nothing fixes it so I've learned to live with it

🔹I have Raynaud's Syndrome which means my hands and feet get numb VERY easily—even in the middle of summer on warm days

🔹I have 40+ other random symptoms that are likely related to having an autoimmune disease that doctor's don't really know the cause of, most of which I just live with

I'm not sharing this because I want pity or empathy. I'm sharing it so that if you're someone that is experiencing chronic pain or can't figure out what's causing the problems you have, you know you're not alone.

I know that many people experience much worse pain and have much worse diseases than anything I deal with. I'm grateful to be able to hike as much as I do and live a mostly normal life.

When I heard this audio though, I couldn't help but laugh because it definitely feels like my check engine light is on all the time and I'm just ignoring it.

As long as I can manage the pain and it's not making it worse, I'm going to do my best to keep living ✌️

Does this resonate with you at all?
