Twelve months ago my life changed for the worse. I fell in to a hole of grief. I lost all motivation and will to push forward. I am still finding my way right now. Some days grief feels heavier than others. Most days my alarm goes off and I want to turn it off and go back to sleep, most days at the moment - I do. You will have noticed in, in how I show up or how present I have been with my business. I don’t have the same passion and energy I once had, to be happy and excited anymore. I know I probably recently have asked you to move your appointment or reschedule to an alternative time. I’m simply trying to survive. If for now that means that I am not the brow artist for you - I sincerely understand. For my loved and loyal clients, I thank you for being by my side, while I figure out my new normal. Pulling back on work has never, ever been something I imagined. I’m grappling with the current economic crisis and figuring out if I keep fighting for this community I have created. While I am broken and vulnerable, please know your kindness and support is never unnoticed. I love you, Akae x
