These press-ons were inspired by this years NAIDOC poster by Ryhia Dank. Ryhia's art is culturally specific to her and I wanted to make sure that I wasn't simply copying her design. I used these images that were culturally appropriate to me, but still linked to the poster through the black and white theme.

Just wanted to say thanks to all my new followers. I've had some enquiries about what press-on nails are and how to order.

Press-on nails are applied to your nail using nail glue. They are a nice alternative to acrylics as they don't damage the nail. The nails are reusable (as long as you've taken care of them) and easily removable (soak in warm water). Putting them on is also easy and I will provide instructions on how to do so. They're perfect for people who play sports or work in places that don't allow you to wear long nails as you can put them on for an occasion and remove them yourself.

At the moment I am selling them for $25 a set (on average press-ons with designs cost $30+). If you're not in Adelaide you will have to pay for postage ($10-$13). Any orders expected for NAIDOC week will need to be placed very soon!

I've always wanted to have a collection of nails that can be pulled out during those special Aboriginal events like NAIDOC week. Now I finally have them!
I'm testing to see if there are many people based in S.A. preferably Adelaide, that would be interested in having some of their own. If you are, inbox me for more info. I'm happy to alter the designs with different phrases and/or designs. I also have a large collection of other colours and you can see some of my designs on this page and my instagram. Just ask if you'd like a different colour/design.

At the moment I am only using ballet coffin nails, I'll expand if I get more interest. I've shortened the length I'm using, but the full size nail length is in the pictures below. You can let me know if you'd like them this length or shorter. $25 for a custom set of nails.
