Every now and then I come across images from a shoot I was booked for that remind me why I fell in love with makeup in the first place.
Clean skin, Soft light, Beautiful jewellery, and the kind of natural, editorial beauty that never goes out of style.
This was a beautiful shoot I did with Holly from , and a stunning local jewellery designer , and I still love how fresh and effortless this hair and makeup look felt.
Sometimes in between teaching, business building and life behind the scenes, it’s nice to pause and remember the artistry that started it all.
No matter if it rains, just pop your raincoat and gum boots on and head to as it’s always full of surprises that will have your mood lifted and your soul fulfilled !
with Gabe Roland & know how to put on a show! It was immersive, so funny, entertaining and the kind of show you leave beaming with happiness.
They sang classics as well as unexpected ones that had the whole audience singing along to with standing ovation moments.
They are performing Feb 28th- March 9th- not 8th sorry 🤪 at in The Flamingo tent as you enter.
Loved this show so much and highly recommend you adding it to your list this Fringe season!
If you love The Bee Gees, Skyhooks, Kiss, ABBA, Eagles, Gloria Gaynor & a room full of people ready to sing along to all the classics, you won’t be disappointed! We had an absolute ball singing in our hearts out! Thank you for such a great night! Grab your tickets to at before they head on their world tour!
Birthday date night that felt like my own private party for all the senses thanx to the opening of 🥳🙌🏻
and honestly… what a way to roll into another year!🤩
Music. Acrobatics. Culture. Live bands under the stars. Contemporary dance. Saucy cabaret. Gospel that made you smile without even trying.
It was one of those nights where you remember why Adelaide in season just hits different.
What I love most about this time of year is that you can walk into a space and be transported, one minute you’re in through music, the next you’re watching gravity-defying acrobatics, then you’re dancing to house classics like you’re 22 again.
And yes… Gasha? I will absolutely be going back. The hair. The makeup. The strength. The production. Elite.
This is your reminder that this is not the month to stay home.
Book the show. Try something random. Support the artists. Make the mid-week date night happen.
Fringe season is short, don’t waste it scrolling.
Here was my recap;
was the host and also has his own show I’m seeing next week called California Crooners Club- book that one too as it’s now also got an additional Australian X factor winner - Isaiah Firebrace in it.
- Gasha
- History of House
- Long way to the top
– Fibres
Which show are you seeing next?
Okay but can we talk about the strength in this show for a second?!
Last night I saw The Mirror at The Octagon in Gluttony and I was honestly blown away.
Pure muscle, complex lifts, no safety nets, suspended high and yet it all looked effortless.
Add in live vocals (that slow Britney moment?! 🔥) and immersive lighting with that video selfie moment…
It was such a uniquely refreshing way to layer the levels of creativity that goes into the show. That alone is worth seeing (and I was so mesmerised that I did not even capture it, so you will have to see it!)
It felt modern, powerful and beautifully curated.
If you’re doing Fringe in 2026 and want something visually mesmerising without it being over-the-top — this is it.
Feb 20 – March 22 at Octagon
Put it on your list.
I had the privilege of attending an exclusive preview of the newly refurbished and wow!
This isn’t just a theatre. When it opened in 1973, it became Australia’s first multi-purpose performing arts venue, setting the blueprint for arts centres across the country. And now? It’s been reimagined.
From the iconic Tetrahedra sculpture by Bert Flugelman welcoming you in… to stepping back onto the Festival Theatre stage (a very full-circle moment for me filled with so many memories from the )… to seeing the Silver Jubilee Organ up close - commissioned in 1978 and officially opened in 1979 (my birth year, clearly iconic timing 😌).
The upgrades are thoughtful, luxurious and future-focused - improved accessibility, fire safety, refreshed backstage spaces (the artists are going to LOVE this), upgraded lighting and seating that somehow feel modern while still holding that classic theatre elegance.
And then there’s the new restaurant, named after Adelaide’s rebellious 1940s arts movement. A nod to the bold creatives who pushed boundaries in arts long before it was trendy.
Executive Chef Alex Katsman is leading the kitchen and if today’s light tastings are anything to go by, we’re in very good hands. I am making that booking!
A special moment too seeing local craftsmanship embedded into the space - like the leather seating by Jon Goulder with frames by Andrew Carvolth. Adelaide talent, built into Adelaide culture. I love that!!!
Adelaide has levelled up.
Book a show, Book a table. Experience it for yourself.
Thank you for having me, it was a beautiful experience.

Xmas Campaign with the stunning was so much fun to work on- especially since we have had a full circle history of working together. It’s one of the things I love about Adelaide- always 2 degrees of separation and always beautiful people coming in and out of your lives.
The masks are seriously the best on the market though and with all the Xmas offers they have been having, now is the time to shop for one!
I know I love mine! (I just need to remember to use it🤭) but it scares the kids every time they walk past my room and that’s enough to make me laugh and want to wear it- (besides the healthier looking skin. )
Wishing you all a very Merry Xmas and a fun time shopping for gifts for your loved ones, and hopefully for yourselves too 😜😘.

Which was your favourite?
I stepped off the plane from Fiji thinking I was coming home with a fresh mindset, ready to start a new chapter in business and in life. But nothing could’ve prepared me for what was waiting.
Frank picked me up from the airport, and instead of heading home, we went straight to the hospital. That’s where we spent the next two and a half weeks; by my father-in-law’s bedside, watching him slowly fade while holding on to every precious moment. They gave him 2 days, but he gave us precious two weeks!
As heartbreaking as it was, there were still moments of joy, laughter, memories, and love that I’ll hold onto forever. I’m so grateful we got to be there until the end, to witness the quiet beauty of his final days, surrounded by family.
It’s reminded me that this is what truly matters. Not the plans, not the goals, not what’s next… but the people right in front of you.
So love deeply. Be kind. Say the words you’ve been holding back. Because tomorrow isn’t promised and the real success in life is how fully we love while we still can. ❤️🩹🙏🏻

Was driving down Payneham Road when I nearly swerved at the sight of her on a bus shelter.
Whether it was the cheekbones (OMG I know right!?) the thrill of spotting a project I worked on a little while ago and not realising it was live? or just the excitement of knowing how damn good this premium pasta looked on set! … I don’t know 🤷🏼♀️
But either way…this one stopped me in my tracks!!
I’m so excited to finally share it with you though, because this job was full of creative layers you wouldn’t believe unless you were there!!
Shoots like this are where collaboration really shines, every creative in that room played an important part in bringing the vision to life, and I’m genuinely proud to have been one of them.
Thank you for having me and keep your eyes out for this beauty on shelves soon.
If you see it, try it. It’s as delicious as our model was stunning. 🍝

BTS of May Issue as well as the front cover of the Gardens Issue- swipe to the end.
Doing the hair and makeup for the May Issue inside this jaw-dropping mansion honestly felt like I’d stepped onto the set of Bridgerton. The chandeliers, the architecture, the art, the sprawling gardens, it was all dripping in drama, elegance, and that “pinch me” energy.
But let me tell you, what made it magic wasn’t just the setting. It was the creative energy of the team, the fast pace behind the scenes, the endless changes what were equally devine and the unspoken flow that happens when pros come together.
I’ll never get over the way makeup transforms with light, mood, and moment and shoots like this remind me why I fell in love with this craft in the first place.
