This whole look (skin prep, application, photos) took 3 hours in the middle of the night last night. I just took my time enjoying the process, I didn't do my hair and I wish I had but oh well haha.

Hello beautiful people!

After taking most of this year off from doing makeup and hair I am so happy and proud to say I'm back!

Those who have booked with me in the last 9 or so months would be aware of where I was at and why I so suddenly left makeup this year.

Through the last 2 years of covid and lockdowns, I lost a lot of passion for this job and as a consequence my confidence in my skills. However this year we had the unexpected but definitely wanted responsibility of taking in two of our nephews until a time that they could go back to their mum and dad/step dad. This grew our family from a family of 5 to a family of 7! Including our own 3 children (Ebony 7, Ariel 5, and Phoebe 2) we also had Mr 7 and Mr 2 come to stay with us for just shy of 7 months. I'm so happy to say that they are home and happy now but it just took some time.

While this added care responsibility was happening for us it meant a lot of changes like schooling, cars, appointments etc and my partner was working 12hr days. It just became too much and I completely abandoned this page, my phone and even my personal profile for all things makeup related, I just couldn't cope with the demands on myself, or providing an explanation, so I ghosted my business.

Now that the children are home and I'm looking at having more spare time next year with my eldest two in school I want to dive back into makeup. I've learnt a lot over the last year, new tips, tricks and techniques and I'm so excited to put it all into action. Not to mention the kit restocking I've done!

I've done makeup here and there over the last 8-9 months but I've not posted since MARCH! OMG! These are all the makeups I've managed to snap.a pic of in that time.

Christmas and new year coming up but in the new year I would love to be posting weekly and I may even enlist the assistance of some of my "social media marketing" endowed peeps to help me get it out there.

I'll be getting to all the messages missed over the next week or so.
