just believing in ourselves sometimes is the hardest thing of all.
How come in one day you can literally be “walking on sunshine” and then in a heartbeat someone or something can knock you to the ground.
I really make a conscious decision these days to surround myself with love and peace. My husband once told me that I was a shepherd always finding stray sheep to help. I no longer have that energy.
I can help you find your own energy, but I now need to look after me and the ones that are closets to my inner circle... family and close friends x
Believing in yourself is the greatest challenge.
And don’t be upset if some days are harder. I sometimes find it hard when I am around people that are not on my wavelength, especially at work or in settings that you are not comfortable in. Buts that’s ok, I’m learning to let go more, learning that that’s their journey, not mine.
You only have one life, remember that. Be true to you and the rest will follow x please be kind to others. And most of all, believe in miracles, they are happening all the time, you just have to open to see them. 🌱
Ask me any questions on dĹŤTERRA essential oils, I believe in the miracles of oils.

arborvitae essential oil in dōTERRA is known as the “tree of life”. It’s sourced from the Thuja plicata tree, also known as western red cedar.
My parents have an oriental arborvitae in their backyard. Commonly known in our family as the singing bush, like the one in the movie “three amigos”. No it’s not magical, it doesn’t really sing. But when we lived with my parents (that’s another story altogether) our cat, Thomas loved playing in that tree. The poor arborvitae suffered greatly by Thomas’s love and p*e, but did survive however.
Arborvitae has a woody, warm earthy smell.
The smell catches me off a little. Thinking at first it starts smelling like faint nail polish remover but then turns into a woodwork room in high school.
Whatever the smell it’s an amazing oil.
Great for polishing all your natural wood furniture around your home. I add 4 drops of arborvitae and 2 drops of lemon essential oil together in a glass spray bottle. Using arborvitae will stop wood from rotting.
Great to diffuse for peace and calming qualities also.
The emotional side of arborvitae is a tad tricky. It’s classed as the oil of divine grace. So whether or not you believe in something higher eg. God, I’m going to say for me the universe.
Use arborvitae when you feel block, going into life not asking or believing in help. It invites us to live with peace and joy, trusting in something higher than just ourselves. It asks individuals to relax, take a deep breath, and trust in the flow of life.
It’s funny, I had an iTOVi reading the other day, and this oil came up for me. And at the time, it meant nothing to me, but now typing this, I get it. I sometimes don’t understand the journey that I’m going through with dōTERRA. How can I help others with essential oil. I just need to know the universe has got my back. Trust is all I need.
Companion oils that work well with arborvitae;
•basil
•cilantro
•copaiba
•cumin
If you are asking questions of why, add 1-3 drops over your upper stomach, crown of head or bottom of feet with fractionated coconut oil.
Into the woods, add to your diffuser 1 drop arborvitae, 1 drop cedarwood, 2 drops frankincense🌱

do you cilantro or do you coriander....
whether you love it or hate it, cilantro or coriander are just two different words for the same plant.
They say it’s the leaf that’s called cilantro and the seeds that come from the plant that’s called coriander.

Cilantro has a fresh, herbal, sweet and pungent (to some) aroma.
Cilantro essential oil in dĹŤTERRA promotes healthy digestion, immune and the nervous system, when taken internally (veggie capsule).
When applied topically, cilantro is very soothing and cooling to the skin.
Add cilantro essential oil to your stir fries, salads and guacamole.
Cilantro is great for emotional cleansing. It encourages the release of worry and control. It will liberate the soul from heavy burdens, especially if you have to control other people or manage their environment.
Great oils to companion with cilantro;
•wintergreen
•cypress
•cinnamon
•cardamom
•peace (reassuring blend)
Diffuse or inhale, or apply with fractionated coconut oil to upper stomach.
Spring cleaning, add to your diffuser, 3 drops cilantro, 2 drops Siberian fir, 1 drop lime

Coriander essential oil in dĹŤTERRA is great to use for feelings or relaxation, especially with its sweet, floral aroma.
It is also known to aid in maintaining a clear complexion and soothing to the body, due to its high linalool content (back and neck or bottom of feet)
Great to add 2 drops to your water after a large meal to aid in digestion.
Coriander is the oil of integrity. It will help with courage to step out of the box and risk being who one really is.
Great oils to companion with coriander;
•Roman chamomile
•ginger
•kumquat
Inhale from the bottle or apply topically with fractionated coconut oil to upper stomach.
Calm and uplift, add to your diffuser, 3 drops coriander, 2 drops peppermint, 2 drops balance
So what will you be? cilantro or coriander 🌱

lemongrass essential oil in dĹŤTERRA has a subtle citrus flavour and it is commonly used in Asian dishes.
Lemongrass essential oil promotes healthy digestion. It’s also purifying and toning to the skin.
I love using lemongrass in massages. To me it smells a tad smokey with a hit of citrus. I mixed Lemongrass, cypress and ice blue to my muscle and joints on my last hike, massaging before and after with fractionated coconut oil.
Lemongrass works well with ;
•basil
•cardamom
•spearmint •oregano •clary sage
•sandalwood •thyme
It’s another great oil for the outdoors to repel insects.
Lemongrass can also be a powerful tool in cleansing the energy within a house or workplace. I tend to diffuse this oil in the spare bathroom when I have people over, or needing to clear negative energy, (letting go of past issues and stagnant energy).
It’s also encourages individuals with hoarding tendencies, to let go of everything they no longer need... maybe I should have a diffuser with lemongrass going in the garage?
clear the negativity, add to your diffuser, 3 drops lime, 3 drops bergamot, 2 drops lemongrass.🌱

if you’re lost you can look and you will find me...
time after time.
the oil of releasing and forgiving, thyme essential oil by dĹŤTERRA.
Oh I love finding out about how essential oils were used in centuries ago, long before pretty packaging.
Thyme was thought to give courage to its bearer. Thyme was given to knights and warriors before they went into battle by the ladies of the Middle Ages. Yet I can’t recall seeing Claire, ever giving Jamie any thyme throughout his many battles on outlander season 1, 2 nor 3 or four...
Thyme was also placed beneath pillows to help promote a peaceful sleep and to ward off nightmares.
Whilst the ancient Greeks used thyme in their baths and burned it as an incense in their temples while the Egyptians used thyme in their embalming rites.
I feel embarrassed that I only use thyme for my honey carrots.
Thyme essential oil smells floral and powdery to me.
You can used thyme essential oil when outside to naturally repel insects.
Thyme oil is also great for the colder months to add to a veggie capsule to support your immune system. It will help kill bacteria and infections, especially in your chest and throat.
However, due to its high thymol content, thyme essential oil should always be diluted with fractionated coconut oil, when applying topically.
Great also for women to naturally balance their hormones.
Thyme essential oil is great to add to your diffuser throughout the day to get your mental wheels turning. It will keep you alert. Thyme will help reduce anxiety and will help with insomnia.
Companion oils to thyme are;
•cardamom •geranium
•cypress
•oregano
Thyme oil will help with negativity, addressing trapped feelings which have been buried deep in our souls. It will open ones heart and will help transform hate into forgiveness.
Do this by applying thyme with fractionated coconut oil on chest and lower stomach, and bottoms of feet.
hey, another helpful tip to any snorers out there. I dare you to place a drop of thyme essential oil on both big toes before sleeping, and no more snoring.... I promise. x
Bug off, in your diffuser add 2 drops thyme, 2 drops lavender, 2 drops peppermint, 4 drops lemongrass 🌱

marjoram essential oil was known to the Greeks and Romans as a symbol of happiness.
To me, marjoram has a warm, woody smell.
Marjoram essential oil is great for calming and has a positive effect on the nervous system.
Add two drops of marjoram into a veggie capsule for cardiovascular and for your immune system.
I apply marjoram to my neck with fractionated coconut oil to lessen feelings of stress, and also to my muscles before and after exercising.
It is also great to apply to a fussy child’s feet prior to their nap time.
Marjoram is the oil of connection.
It is a perfect oil to use if you have troubles with trust issues, or forming meaningful relationships.
If you are feeling a tad reclusive or unconsciously sabotaging long term friendships, maybe give marjoram a go. Apply 1-3 drops with fractionated coconut oil over heart and chest area. Hopefully it will help you to heal pasts wounds, and make you restore trust in others again.
Marjoram essential oil works well with;
•cedarwood
•neroli
•geranium
Maybe the Greeks were onto something with marjoram.
release sadness, in a diffuser add, 1 drop marjoram, 2 drops frankincense, 2 drops wild orange and 2 drops bergamot.🌱

do I love basil more then rosemary.... maybe
Basil essential oil has a warm spicy aroma, which is fantastic to add to your favourite pasta, or even to your tomato soup.
Basil oil helps with stress and can also be cooling to the skin.
Another great oil to use for focus when studying.
Oils that work well with basil are;
•wild orange
•peppermint
•lavender peace
•grapefruit
•cumin
•digestzen
•red mandarin
Basil is a great essential oil to use for massage, maybe combining with wild orange or even with geranium. Added to your fractionated coconut oil it is a great uplifting massage (or even on the bottom of your feet before bed).
Basil is perfect for you if you suffer from fatigue, low energy, feeling overwhelmed and just struggling with what life is throwing at you.
The smell of basil really does relax my mind. I love just inhaling from the bottle itself when I feel nervous, anxious or just feeling drained.
get moving, in your diffuser add, 3 drops basil, 2 drops grapefruit and 2 drops peppermint🌱
