[LATE NIGHT PONDERING]
I have noticed something lately. I have noticed that I sleep most comfortably when out of my four pillows, not a single one has a matching pillow case, when I've used my fitted sheet that I never should have put in the washing machine with a red top, and my quilt cover is completely different again. For some reason I wake up so much more rested than I would if everything was pristine and matching.
Maybe this is a lesson for my life. Maybe I do not need to strive for perfection. Not every hair on my head need be in place, every book perfectly stacked, or every dish washed and put away. Maybe it is in the imperfections that we truly feel comfortable, and out of this state of comfort our personalities are truly formed. So, if beauty comes from within and our imperfections are what make our personalities shine, then to never strive for perfection will make us all truly beautiful!
