✨ HI, I’M LAUREN — LET ME REINTRODUCE MYSELF ✨

It’s been about a year since I’ve done one of these, and there are lots of new faces around here… so hi! 👋🏼🤍

I’m Lauren, the face, hands, colour-obsessed brain and caffeine-fuelled human behind Savage Hair Artistry.

I’ve been hairdressing for over 24 years (which honestly makes me feel slightly ancient 😂), and I’m a Master Colourist with a serious love for creating beautiful, wearable hair, especially blondes, dimensional colour, transformations and extensions.

Savage Hair Artistry is my little home-based boutique salon in Adelaide, and I’ve worked hard to make it somewhere you can walk in, completely relax, have a laugh, probably overshare a little 😂 and walk out feeling like the best version of yourself.

But outside the salon, I’m also just Lauren.

I’m a mum, wife, friend, professional overthinker, lover of travel, good food, sunshine and making memories. My family is everything to me, my life is usually organised chaos, and chances are if I’m not doing hair, I’m running someone to soccer, planning our next holiday or convincing myself I definitely need another coffee. 😂

I’ve been doing this long enough to know that hairdressing is about so much more than hair.

I’ve celebrated engagements, weddings, pregnancies and new babies with clients. I’ve listened through heartbreaks, losses, fresh starts and huge life changes. I’ve watched clients grow up, get married and bring their own kids into my chair.

That connection is still one of my favourite parts of what I do. 🤍
