What products are safe to use in hair extensions?

The best thing to do for your hair extensions is use the recommended products to get the best value out of your set, it’s important to use products that are gentle and nourishing. Look for sulfate-free shampoo and conditioners that are specifically formulated for dry or damaged hair.

Protein based products are not recommended to use on extensions as the cuticle is already based on protein so to much of it can cause them to feel dry and brittle!

Hair extensions lack the natural scalp oils and nutrients your own hair has so products that mimic them will help your hair!

Make sure to watch our for these ingredients on the back of your products- SLS, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Ethyl Alcohol, Ethanol, SD Alcohol 40, Propanol, Isopropyl, and Propyl.
