I get asked this question quite often. Does the Balancing Gel Cleanser foam up?

The Balancing Cleanser doesn’t contain any nasties, it’s all natural - which means it doesn’t contain the ingredient that makes your cleanser “foam up” however, it still does foam up slightly if used correctly. It’s also a great way to check that you’ve cleansed your skin effectively. Wet your skin, apply one pump and massage into your skin, remove with water and then reapply another pump and you’ll notice that the second cleanse feels very different on your skin and the cleanser will slightly foam or bubble up - the last step it to make sure you’ve removed all of the cleanser with warm water. If you’re unsure add some water to your skin and see if you’re getting any bubbles on the surface of your skin when you’re gently massaging, if you’re rinse off with some warm water to be sure you’ve got no residue left.

The enzymes in The Balancing range are very clever, the enzymes work like little Pac-Man that nibble away at any dead skin on the surface and break up dead skin cells allowing for fresh clean skin 🍍 💦

Sleeping with makeup on is one of the worst things you could do to your skin!

Sleeping with makeup on traps dirt and pollutants inside the skin which can result in breaking down collagen and elastin in your skin. This can speed up the ageing process and cause an increase in fine lines and wrinkles!

sleeping with makeup on can clog pores and even make them appear larger, clogged pores will result in acne! Even if you only sleep in your makeup once or twice, the dirt and oil also transfers on your pillow and cause breakouts from the bacteria.

Sleeping in makeup can also interfere with the natural shedding or exfoliation process of the skin, leaving you with a dull and dry complexion, will also make your products not work as effectively as you have a build up of dead skin cells.

The best way to avoid all of this… double cleanse your makeup off before bed 😴 🙌

- If this is the first time using a Vitamin A Serum you should start slowly, try every 3rd night for a few weeks, every 2nd night for a few weeks and then you are able to start using the serum every right 💫

- Always cleanse your skin before applying, then I recommend applying your Intensive Eye Serum, follow by massaging in your Vitamin A Serum (avoid your eye area) allow the serum to soak into the skin and gently apply your moisturiser over the top. 🪄
