Prevention. Protection. Aftercare. This is Kerry’s story. 💙

Kerry’s melanoma resection took place 15 years ago. Eight years ago, she met Kristy while undergoing chemotherapy in the community. Now, all these years later, their paths have come full circle at Flux Lymphatics.

Old scars can become tight, hardened and adhered to the tissues beneath them. Using our new LPG® Medical Endermologie machine, Kristy is gently working through the scar tissue left behind by Kerry’s surgery.

Through gentle and targeted mechanostimulation, this treatment can help mobilise and soften fibrotic scar tissue, improve tissue flexibility and reduce adhesions. For Kerry, the goal is to relieve pulling, restriction and discomfort, restore more natural movement and ultimately improve her quality of life.

It was incredibly special to witness Kerry share this part of her journey. What an amazing, strong woman, and such a powerful reminder that the effects of melanoma can continue long after the initial diagnosis and treatment.
