✨ Important Update ✨️

I have two important announcements to make for the future of my salon.

Its apparent that its become increasingly difficult to book in with me, and its now becoming tricky to book in, and cater to my regular clients, who have been seeing me and supporting me for years. My current waitlist is often anywhere from 6-10 weeks in advance.
So I'll be implementing some changes, and the decision has not come lightly.

Due to the demand, as well as rising costs from my booking system, extension suppliers, and colour/retail brands, my service prices will be increasing by around 10–15%. My extension services will continue to be the recommended pricing outlined by extension companies I work with.

I’ll also be closing my books to new clients so I can focus on looking after my amazing regulars, with the exception of new full extension sets, which I’ll still be taking on, as this is a specialty and niche service, that not many provide.

Part of this change is also about creating a healthier work–life balance, so I can continue to give my clients the very best energy and results every time they’re in my chair, and also to prevent burning myself out, as I navigate being a business owner for the first time.

One last note to add, I hope you can understand the challenges that come with running a salon solo. At times I may not be able to respond to messages or calls right away. I prefer not answer the phone while with clients, as I want to give them my full attention, and taking calls can make me run behind. I don't have an assistant to answer clients, or even tidy up, order stock etc, so all of these tasks are done during my personal time, which can lead to overwhelming pressure, and burnout.

One week from today, I'll open my own salon!

I'll be back at the Albany Business Centre, in Studio 10 again, but this time it's just me!

My Easter weekend will be spent moving all my gear back out here, after our flooding disaster 3 months ago, and fingers crossed for next week opening 🤞
