You may have noticed it's been quiet on my page the last few months.
I feel it's time to take a break from nails and try something new. Which is why I have decided to close Christal's Outback Beauty at the end of May.

I would like to say thank you to the many beautiful clients who have supported me through the years.
Thank you for sharing your time with me and allowing me to display some of my creativity on your 10 little canvasses. I wish you all health and happiness as you move forward in your lives as well.

Pretty in pink 🩷

I don't usually like to post the grown out nails of other techs as I don't think it is a fair representation of their work. However I wanted to share the importance of nail shape. This client had tips put on, as they've grown out it's become obvious that the tips did not fit properly. I have debulked and prepped this nail and you can see how the tip is much narrower than where her natural nail is meant to be - along the red line.
The other photos show the corrected shape. Now the side of her nails are supported and protected with product and will grow out more naturally. Notice how the tip of the nail now has a nice natural curve instead of being flat. This also makes it stronger and more durable.
