How does retinol / Vitamin A affect your brow appointment?
What you might not know, is retinol speeds up your cell turnover, increasing your skins natural exfoliation.
When you wax your skin, you aren’t just removing hair follicles you’re also removing a build up of skin cells. If the dead skin cell layer is absent due to the use of retinol products, the fresh new cells are at risk of skin lifting!
We recommend to stop using your retinol products 3- 4 days prior to your brow appointment.

Please ensure to tell your beauty therapist of any new additions to your active skincare from home or any recent professional treatments you are undertaking so we can be sure to keep you safe and adjust to tweezing when needed.
