Tai Chi and Qi Gong for Health
Chunmei Yang dedicated to preserving and sharing the wisdom of traditional Chinese practices.
Through mindful movement, breath, and Qi cultivation, I guide students towards health, balance, longevity, and harmony of body and mind. 太极和气功老师杨春梅 I am Yang Chunmei, a dedicated practitioner and teacher of Tai Chi and Qi Gong, committed to preserving and sharing the wisdom of these traditional Chinese arts. Through years of practice, I have developed a deep appreciation for the principles of mindful movement, breath regulation, Qi cultivation, and the harmony of body and mind. My teaching focuses on helping students cultivate health, balance, inner strength, relaxation, and awareness through the practice of Tai Chi and Qi Gong. With respect for traditional teachings and the essence of Chinese internal arts, I aim to make these practices accessible and meaningful for people of all ages and backgrounds. I believe Tai Chi and Qi Gong are not only methods for improving physical wellbeing, but also lifelong paths for cultivating calmness, resilience, and a deeper connection with oneself. As a practitioner and teacher, I continue to learn, refine my skills, and share these valuable traditions with sincerity, humility, and dedication.
During my intensive Tai Chi training in Beijing, every day began with 40 minutes of stretching and flexibility practice before class. The foundation of Tai Chi is not only in the movements, it begins with patience, discipline, and preparing the body.
A little progress every day, and every stretch brings me closer to the art. ❤️
不到长城非好汉 — ‘You’re not a true hero until you’ve climbed the Great Wall.’
Standing here with these words behind me, I’m grateful for this unforgettable moment in China. 🇨🇳
From morning until evening, I trained alongside people from different places, shared stories, learned together, and experienced something truly special.
A beautiful week at Tai Chi University in Beijing, filled with movement, energy, laughter, and new connections.
More than Tai Chi… we’re a community that moves, smiles, and grows together.
There’s something special about practising Tai Chi together.
We learn, we encourage each other, we share a few laughs, and most importantly, we enjoy the journey.
A happy community makes every class something to look forward to. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who brings your energy, smiles, and positive spirit to our Tai Chi family.
Just three Tai Chi sessions… and his golf coach noticed the difference.
A few years ago, P experienced a stroke that affected his balance. But that hasn’t stopped him from staying active, he still plays golf every week.
After only three Tai Chi sessions, P told me something really encouraging: his golf coach noticed that his posture was already looking much better.
That’s what I love about Tai Chi. We’re not just practising forms, we’re working on posture, balance, body awareness, coordination, and confident movement.
Small steps. Consistent practice. Real-life results.
Well done P, Keep going!
Slow down. Breathe. Move. Feel the difference.
