Can we talk about GLP-1s and changes in your hair?

It’s a conversation we’re having more often in the salon, particularly with women noticing increased shedding or a change in the density and quality of their hair during or after significant weight loss.

When the body goes through a period of rapid change, hair can respond too. For some women, this can mean increased shedding several months later as more hairs move into the resting and shedding phase.
