As many of you know, I really dislike having to make posts like this, but unfortunately it’s become necessary.
Lately, I’ve noticed an increase in last-minute cancellations and no-shows. While I completely understand that life can be unpredictable and unexpected situations arise, I kindly ask that as much notice as possible be given if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Like many small business owners, my time is carefully allocated, and I often have a waiting list of clients who would happily take an available appointment. When cancellations happen with little or no notice, it makes it very difficult to offer those appointments to others.
To ensure fairness to all clients and to protect the time set aside for your booking, I do have a cancellation and no-show policy in place, which will be enforced moving forward.
Thank you for your understanding, support, and continued loyalty. It truly means the world to me and my business.

Five Years of Jelbe ✨

Five years ago, this little salon started with a dream, a whole lot of passion, and probably more coffee-fuelled late nights than I can count. What began as an idea has now grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined — a beautiful space filled with laughter, confidence, friendships, transformations, and the most incredible clients anyone could ask for.

Turning 5 feels surreal.

In the last five years I’ve placed thousands of foils, mixed endless bowls of colour, shared life stories across the chair, celebrated milestones together, cried together, laughed until we couldn’t breathe, and built a salon that feels more like family than business.

To every single client who has supported me — whether you’ve been here since day one or only recently found me — thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your hair, your confidence, and your time. Supporting a small business means more than most people realise, and I will never take that for granted.

To my family, friends, loyal clients and everyone who has cheered me on over the last five years — thank you for being part of this journey. You are the reason this dream continues to grow.
