Our Story

My name is Sharon and I have 18 years experience as a qualified hairdresser and own a very successful hairdressing business. In recent years, I decided to bring a personal wig service into my hairdressing business due to a lovely client and very special friend Lyn. Lyn was diagnosed with uterine cancer in 2011 which resulted in chemotherapy and hair loss. Her hair was a huge part of her identity and she decided when she lost her hair that she wanted to wear a lovely wig. Lyn and I went to choose a wig together and she really appreciated having professional advice on choosing a style of wig to suit her individual needs.

This experience has motivated me to want to help others who are in a similar situation. Lyn will always remain in my heart and I am passionate about helping others who may be wanting to find a personalised, comfortable, stylish wig.

The past few years I have had great support from the Oncology staff at the Ballarat Base Hospital and St John of God Hospital in Ballarat. I have received lovely feedback from clients on how beautiful this service is and highly recommend it for anyone experiencing alopecia, thyroid issues, hair loss due to cancer or other health reasons.

Lyn was very proud to wear her wig. My love and passion for this service I now dedicate to my beautiful friend Lyn.
