I filmed this for R U OK? Day.. and then I didn’t post it.
Because ironically, I really wasn’t okay. And sharing it while I was still in the middle of it felt like one more thing I had to do when I was already struggling to do the basics.
A few days later, I’m in a much better headspace. Nothing magically fixed itself. Life is still life. But the mountain doesn’t feel quite so crushing anymore.
So I’m posting it now.
Because mental health doesn’t follow the content calendar.
sometimes “showing up” isn’t thriving, healing, smashing goals or having some profound breakthrough.
