The Get Glowing Micro Peel is a gentler, lower downtime option. The peel is applied for 1 hour, allowing the active ingredients to work at the surface of the skin without the more intensive shedding associated with the Skin Renewal Peel.
So, what is actually happening to your skin?
RESORCINOL : helps encourage controlled exfoliation and the removal of accumulated surface cells, supporting smoother, more refined looking skin.
SALICYLIC ACID : works within the pores to loosen congestion and excess keratin while helping to refine texture.
KOJIC ACID : targets the pigmentation pathway by inhibiting tyrosinase, helping to regulate excess melanin production and improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation.
Together, these actives encourage the skin to shed older surface cells and move through its natural renewal process, revealing fresher, smoother and brighter looking skin.
With more manageable downtime
You may experience little to no visible shedding, or a light, fine flaking as the skin renews. This is very different from the more dramatic shedding associated with the Skin Renewal Peel. Every skin responds differently, so your level of peeling will depend on your individual skin and how it responds to the treatment.
As as well as being able to resume using your normal skincare products and activities after application day.
- For best results, the Get Glowing Micro Peel is performed as a series of 3–6 treatments, spaced approximately 2–6 weeks apart.
Working progressively allows us to continually support skin renewal while targeting concerns such as pigmentation, congestion, uneven texture and dullness over a course of treatments.

3 weeks of skin progress ✨
I think it’s so valuable to see the entire Elaine Brennan Skin Renewal Peel process, not just the final result because the peeling phase is a big part of the treatment and knowing what to expect can make the experience much easier.
For my client the skin peeled for 7 days on the dot, with the intensity and amount of peeling varying across the face as her skin responded. Once the skin had completely settled, we could see the result at the 3 week mark post the first peel application
And the change in her complexion is incredible particularly across the forehead, where the skin appears noticeably clearer, more even and refined. Overall, there is a beautiful improvement in clarity, tone, texture and luminosity, with a much brighter looking complexion.
This is definitely not a peel for the fainthearted 😂 but it’s designed to create a significant skin reset in a relatively short period of time. When we’re working towards long term skin goals, we often talk in terms of 6 to 12 months, so seeing this level of change within three weeks is pretty incredible.
