Right, let's clear up a few things I get asked in the chair every single week. Trimming doesn't make your hair grow faster - growth happens at the scalp, trims just stop breakage travelling up. You don't need to keep switching shampoos either; a good formula keeps doing its job. And more product? It usually just weighs your hair down. No drama, no guesswork - just straight answers from someone who actually does hair. Swipe through and tell me which one surprised you most. Jena x

Straight answer time. Everyone asks if bond repair is worth it, so here's my honest verdict as someone who actually does hair. If your hair is coloured, bleached or heat-styled, the Juuce Bond Repair Shampoo genuinely helps - it works on the internal bonds while it cleanses, so lengths feel stronger, not just softer. If your hair's healthy and just a bit dry, you probably don't need it. So tell me: is your hair actually damaged, or just dry? Comment below and I'll point you the right way.

Here's the pre-wash step most people skip - and it makes a real difference. Before you shampoo, buff away buildup with the walnut scrub so your scalp starts fresh. Then cleanse and strengthen with bond repair shampoo, which works on your hair while it washes. Two easy steps, no drama, and hair that feels lighter and stronger. Save this for your next wash day, and tag someone whose hair always feels weighed down. Salon-picked and shipped Australia-wide - Jena x

Best of both worlds 🌍🌏
I offer a bit of a different approach to “balayage” at HQ and Lynita wanted to go a bit lighter without the high maintenance fuss.
The ombré style is the perfect technique for you if you want some dimension without constant upkeep. What do you think?

When’s your next new colour appointment???

How amazing is Julie’s Straight Up Treatment?
Julie started coming to me for QIQI treatments is March of 2024 when she realized her usual keratin treatments weren’t cutting it and was recommended to come and see me. Yesterday she had her 5th Straight Up Treatment with me and comes roughly every 6-9 months for a touch up.
I’m sure you agree how much healthier and shiny her hair looks right?!?

Here's the step most people skip, and it's the one I'd never wash without. Before you shampoo, a gentle walnut scrub resets your scalp and buffs away all that quiet buildup at the roots. It sounds small, but it changes everything after it. Cleaner base, and your shampoo, conditioner and treatments actually do their job. No drama, just a better starting point. Is this the step you've been missing? Tell me below.

Sometimes I forget just how much foils are in a full head of foils but gosh it looks pretty 😻
Rachael has a blonde and a caramel coloured foil to create dimension in her blonde rather than the straight blonde.
I also used my fave duo to add that shine ✨
Smooth enz is best to use on damp hair and brushed through to distribute it evenly.
I then used the botanic oil serum to lock in the moisture and continue that sparkle in her hair
Have you used my 2 fave products ? Let me know your thoughts 💭

Right, let's clear a few things up. These are the three hair myths I hear in the chair almost every week, and the no-drama truth behind each one.

Washing daily? You're stripping it. Piling on product? A coin-size amount is plenty. Trims for growth? Growth starts at the scalp, trims just stop the breakage.

Swipe through, then tell me: which one caught you out? I want to know what you were told. Jena x

Colour looking a little tired before your next appointment? Here are the little home habits I give my clients to keep it salon-fresh for longer. Turn the water down, wash with a colour-care shampoo, and don't let the sun undo it all. No drama, just a few easy swaps from someone who actually does hair. Save this for wash day, and tag the friend who is forever touching up their colour.
