How blessed am I to have a community in all of you whether you’re a past or current client or have supported through the screen. The support in this time for me & my family has been a light. Thank you for your messages, words cannot express how much this means 🫂
6 months ago yesterday, we unexpectedly & devastatingly found out that my husband Jem has stage 4 cancer. Within a week he was on treatment, it was a big shock & I was on autopilot while our worlds completely changed into a very urgent & rushed pace.
At this time, it had just been a month since I returned back in the studio for work postpartum & had a 7 month old. My heart hurt so much.
Because I am a mother I want to be okay & have to be because I love my son so much. Everyday I pray for God to give me strength because I simply cannot go about the day with my own. Jem has been so strong in all of this, his mind & body is incredible. He has peace & that gives me a lot of comfort.
We chose to share this journey publicly as life is made up of hard situations like these & there is power in community, I am a big believer and witness to this. We want to share this also for our son to see the journey he has been a part of long before he can remember 🫂
I hope that you take care today & hug those you cherish. I will be quieter on socials moving forward as I dedicate more of my time to my family. Thank you for being here xx
