We are very excited to announce we have a new barber starting at Nics Barbers🌟

Jack will be starting Tuesday 19th May and will be working full time, Jack specialises in fades and beards and I know everyone will love him. Jack has had many years of experience within the barber world.

Bookings are now open for you to book ahead with Jack, just follow the link on Facebook or Insta. Downloading the Fresha app is an easier way to manage your own appointments and you will not need to put your details in every time.

George street has become such a little family, jacks wifey works next door at the tattoo shop so he will already be a familiar face to some.

APPRECIATION/UPDATE POST 🥰

Just a little update from Nics Barbers

I wanted to reach out and thank everyone for their support as we navigate our way through this difficult time. I am very aware that for many of Jodie’s clients, it has been hard to walk back in knowing she is not there, I appreciate you all still showing up and supporting not just myself but the other girls. I am very confident Jodie would still want everyone coming in, but also understand if that is too difficult. There will absolutely be no judgments made if it is just too hard to be there.

I would personally like to thank everyone, esp my regulars who have been cancelled, moved or given no times that I will be there. I am finding this situation incredibly hard and trying to navigate my way through this the best I can. I am needing to ask for support from everyone! that can look like just turning up even if I am not there, being flexible with times if that is possible, supporting the girls and just dropping in for a cuddle or laugh any time.

To secure a spot with myself book ahead, I won’t be back to full hours for a bit as I learn to deal with this new reality.

Thank you all again, your patience and understanding has not gone
Un noticed. The flowers and food that people are still continuing to drop in is so incredibly heart warming.

Jodie was certainly loved by many and is very missed. We are still having to let people know that she is not here anymore, especially her elderly clientele that is not on social media. So please be gentle with the staff, this has not been easy for them.

We will be closed this Saturday 28th and the 4 days over Easter to give us all a little break and some time to heal.

Funeral notice will be put here as soon as we know, but will probably be a little bit.

Also want to thank everyone for the flowers and being patient and gentle with the girls, it is very welcomed.

I will keep everyone posted, as I know how loved she was and there are many people hurting right now. Please be kind to yourself and if you feel the need to just drop into the shop please do so! We all know how much she loved work, so don’t be a stranger ❤️

As many might know we are now coming to terms with the sudden loss of Jodie. Finding the right words is incredibly hard and a massive shock to us all.

Jodie loved her clients, and would call them her friends and family, I know this is going to hit a lot of people hard and I am very sorry to bring this news.

I will be taking some time to grieve, and Gemma and Arlie will be in and out to try and keep the show going (as Jodie would say)

Please respect this is very fresh and extremely hard for everyone, I know everyone wants to know every detail but I ask to please respect Jodie and the team right now and refrain from to many questions.
