A little update from me :)

As many of you know, I flew out to Perth just under two weeks ago to be beside my daughter as she welcomed her first baby.

While things didn’t quite unfold as expected with this little guy’s arrival into the world, and there were some touch-and-go moments we had to navigate, we are now on the other side of it all — thriving, grateful and fully embracing this beautiful new little life.

I think life has a way of reminding us that we can plan, believe and expect things to unfold a certain way, but sometimes it simply takes us in a completely different direction. Perhaps the lesson is not to hold too tightly to expectation, but to trust ourselves to meet whatever comes next.

Baby Ayrton is doing exceptionally well, and mumma is also settling beautifully into motherhood. 🤍

My stay has extended a little beyond the original plan, but this is simply what we do to support family. No questions.

I’ll be back in clinic next Tuesday, the 22nd, with normal trading hours returning — and suddenly our run into the final season of the year is in sight!
