One thing to keep in mind when looking at hair up inspiration is that brunette hair will always photograph a little differently to blonde hair.

Blonde hair reflects more light, so you tend to see every twist, braid and detail. Brunette hair absorbs more light, so the focus is more on the overall shape, softness and silhouette of the style.

Neither is better they’re just different. So if you’re brunette, don’t compare your finished style to a blonde inspiration photo. Instead, look at the overall shape and feel of the hairstyle, because that’s what will translate best on darker hair.
