Goodbye Hunter… 👋🏼

Three stellar years as a barbershop boss and it was everything it cracked up to be and so much more… today, the keys to Hunter get handed over to their new owner and I couldn’t be happier!! 🔑

All great things must come to an end…

If I am honest, I feel fu***ng naked… for the first time in 11.5 years I am salon-free, but I love it 🙌🏼 😂 It was always a five year goal to flip Hunter, but since moving North to chase my dreams and live in the sun, my life has taken a completely different direction which is why it’s time to love and leave Hunter in the hands of its fearless new leader, and carry on with my other passions, businesses and projects.

THANK YOU to each and every one of our awesome Hunter clients, especially our VIP members and those who have been with us since the beginning. Some of you have been a client of mine since I began as an apprentice back in 2005, and so many of you have been a part of all of my salons throughout the years ✂️ I am unfu***ngbeleivably grateful for each of you!

Thank you to my team of barbers - Sharna, Jarrod, Alex and Tommy (don’t worry you’ll still see them in there!!) and Loz who runs the back end of everything 💈 Bless ya, I’m fortunate to have worked with you all!

(Also a shoutout to our lovely neighbours Paddington Cafe - I miss you loads!)

Last but not least, no ‘good luck’ required for the new owner, Jos + the Resident Barber team, biggest congrats on your expansion into Belmont 🙌🏼 fiiiiiinally!!

THANK YOU to each and every one of our clients, especially our VIP members and those who have been with us since the beginning (or even before in the Huntress days) ✂️ without you all we wouldn’t exist!

To Sharna (the girl in charge) - you’re fu***ng incredible you’ve stepped straight into your management role and taken it in your stride 🌟 To Sharna and the boys (Jarrod, Alex and Tommy) thank you for taking care of our clients every single day. Shoutout also to Loz who handles all the admin, feedback and backend management of the shop.

💈 And to the other legendary barbers who’ve graced this shop in its time (Vaughn and Tayla especially) I am thankful for each of you for your time with us too.

To say the last twelve months have been a test would be an understatement, especially for every single business and businessperson in the service industry and in VIC. 💙 It’s hard to believe how the last few years have panned out for my barbershop and for all small businesses in general but if you came out the other side you’re an absolute legend!!

Owning a barbershop was always a dream of mine, having a mum who was a barber from as early as I can remember. Being a barbershop boss was everything it cracked up to be and so much more. Stay tuned for all the amazing new stuff happening at Hunter and happy 3rd birthday!... XX C

What a s**t show... here we go again!

Mandatory government closures mean we are forced to close our doors from COB tonight until 9am next Friday 4th June.

Anyone with a booking over the next week will be contacted today to reschedule. Anyone hoping to get in over the next week we recommend calling ahead now because it’s going to be flat out on our return.

So sorry for the inconvenience, we are as much over it as you guys are!
