Situated in a true Bendigo icon, on the corner of Barnard and Forest Streets we provide quality hair and service backed with years of knowledge, executed with great Australian brands NAK Hair and Eleven Australia.
We post today with some of you having already heard the news that Beautiful You are closing our doors.
It saddens us to write this and give those that didn’t know the bad news, as it is not a choice we wanted to make, rather a rock and a hard place situation.
As our 3 year anniversary approaches, we needed to decide if Beautiful You could commit to another 3 year lease. Having our lease up for review, sadly the new landlords have requested a rent increase of over 50%. Increase to our rent and the added yearly increases to utilities and rates, we have no other choice, we are so sorry this is just not something we can afford to do.
The amazing staff, quality service and welcoming atmosphere we pride ourselves on, is not something we feel we can sacrifice to cover the increased costs, as we value each and every one of you too much. Regrettably, as a relatively new business, we cannot afford to achieve everything we dreamed of. Other options have been considered and negotiations were tried but to no avail.
Sadly, from March 31st, 2023, Beautiful You will have no choice but to cease trading, for anyone who has a voucher for the salon please come in and use it before this date. Thank you for walking through our doors, sitting in our chairs and trusting us with your hair, we will always be grateful for each and every one of you. We loved every minute of this adventure, our lives will not be the same, but we have so appreciated the ride!
