Jade will be taking some much-deserved time off following the closure of Urban to spend quality time with her kids and settle back into life in Victoria. You’ll still see her around the salon until September, and maybe even from time to time after that! We wish Jade and her beautiful family all the very best in this next chapter xx

There aren’t enough stars in the sky to express how truly grateful I am for you. You gave me my start in hairdressing by getting me my first job, and then entrusted me with the opportunity to manage your business — and eventually become your business partner as it grew. I will be forever thankful for you, not only as a business partner but as a big sister figure too.
You are one of a kind, and I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor. I’ve watched you selflessly put your team first time and time again, even while running a business from the other side of Australia, what a woman!
I know that whatever you take on next, you’ll be absolutely incredible at it. Jade, you’ve given me nothing but unwavering support and encouragement to take the leap and start my own business. I truly couldn’t have done it without you backing me, my safety blanket! Haha.

When one door closes, another one opens 🌼 �As bittersweet as it is to say goodbye to The Urban Hair Lab, a space built with love with my beautiful business partner Jade, someone I will forever be grateful for — it’s time for a new beginning.
With a full heart and so much passion for hair, I’m so excited to introduce my new baby,
BLONDÈ

This next chapter will unfold inside the stunning space , created by the talented .hairstylist. I’ll be taking over the salon space as the new home of BLONDÈ, while Kristy will continue doing her thing and working her magic in the space she built, now as a fellow renter.
I’ll also be joined by a couple of amazing stylists, and you might even spot a few of my OGs popping in from time to time to keep the energy alive and continue creating beautiful hair.

I can’t wait to welcome you into my new space.
More details will be coming soon, but for now — just know how much I appreciate all the love, support, and trust you’ve given me over the years. BLONDÈ is a new beginning, and I’m so ready to share it with you all.

After careful consideration and reflection, we have made the heartfelt decision to close The Lab in its current form as of September. However, this presents a unique opportunity for someone to step in and acquire a fully established salon, ready to be transformed into the business of their dreams.

Please keep an eye on our social media pages for updates on our new locations. Pre-booked clients will be contacted directly, and their appointments will be seamlessly transferred to the appropriate stylist at their new location. We kindly ask that any gift vouchers be used before September 1st, as they will no longer be valid after this date. If you have any questions about this please don’t hesitate to ask us.

As we move into a new chapter with a focus on creating a healthier work-life balance for ourselves and our families, we want to express our deepest gratitude. This decision was not made lightly, and we are incredibly thankful for the unwavering support of our wonderful clients and the dedication and the meaningful relationships we’ve built over the years. It has been a true honour to be a part of your lives, and we look forward to continuing these connections—just in a new setting.

To our team—thank you for your exceptional talent, dedication, and the many contributions that have made our salon the vibrant, welcoming space it is. It has been a true privilege to work alongside each of you, and we are deeply grateful for all that you’ve brought to our journey.

CHRISTMAS OPEN HOURS 🎄🎄

Our last day in salon will be on the 23rd of December. The girls will be having a well deserved break and then back on the 6th of January 2025. Please ensure you have got your last minute vouchers and products before we close.
