Another update!
The lovely Bec from Stitching Sisters in Narooma has offered to take in any dress donations! If you have a formal appropriate dress lying around that you’d like to donate, or some nice pants, shirts and ties for the boys, pls take them to Bec and she will get them to the appropriate people! Thank you so much everyone!!

We have found someone!!! Honestly, this community is just SO amazing! We are SO lucky to live here!!

Any chance we have a makeup artist out there willing to donate some time?
We are doing a big day in salon on 12 November to do hair for disadvantaged kids from Narooma High for their yr 12 formal. We’ve had a few amazing locals offer their services (thank you SO much!) but just need one more makeup artist if at all possible…
We are so lucky to live in this beautiful place with such wonderful community!

After and before… the previous cut was super blunt, no texture and she’s felt the sides have been too long for comfort… so I reshaped, shortened up those sides and textured the hell out of it, this super straight hair needs the texture or it looks quite “choppy”, that look where you can almost see the cut lines. All sorted now!

After and before, look at this beautiful, natural grey hair! 🤍 just a tidy up with a smooth blow dry today…

So…. I remembered the before photo, but not before chopping the ponytail off! 🤦🏼‍♀️ ah well… we did a big chop and restyle! I dried it the same way she will at home so she could see how it’ll sit usually… next time I’ll be doing a fun iron curl!

And a bob refresh with a bit of layering to make it easier to get some volume through the top and give it a nice shape!

This lovely lady wanted just a touch of colour with no maintenance required… something that just adds a bit of tone to the hair in the form of some medium brown pieces throughout her super dark natural to give it a glow when the light hits it.
Sometimes as hairdressers, these are the hardest ones, because we want you to really see the difference, but when what you want is something REALLY natural, then the difference is subtle!
I also really love these ones though, because it’s so seamless and natural looking, but you get a great pop when the sun hits it!
We also did a decent chop and put some layers in so it sits well when curled. We did the curls a bit tighter than ideal so that tomorrow when she heads out, they’re perfect!

Touch up on the regrowth colour, ends are holding strong so no need to refresh those, and a bouncy blow dry!
