This course includes:
👣 2 days face-to-face practical training

📚 Minimum 100 hours of training with
📝Case studies
📖 Reflexology learning resources
🤲 Continued practical application when you
Practice with at least 7 people within 2–3 weeks following the face-to-face component

🌿 Facilitated by Kylie Williams, with 25 years' experience in massage and reflexology.

⚠ We feel it is important to place a number of facts on record regarding our attempts to engage with Mayor Jon Raven.

➡ Over several months, members of our committee have made multiple attempts to communicate directly and respectfully with the Mayor.

📲 This has included phone calls to his mobile, text messages, and voicemails ... all made respectfully, requesting an opportunity to speak with him, and can all be evidenced. Unfortunately, we have not received a response to any of these attempts.

👨‍💻We have also attempted to engage through the Mayor’s social media channels, asking reasonable and respectful questions on behalf of our community. These were not attacks, but genuine questions seeking clarity. These questions were not acknowledged or ever responded to... and this can be evidenced.

👨🏻‍💻At one point, the Mayor publicly stated to another resident in relation to us, that he does not engage with pages that “hide their identity.”
We note this with some concern, as our identity ... including our committee members ... has always been known to the Mayor.

There has been interaction from the Mayor himself, the Mayoress, and members of his team within a Facebook group where our Association has been negatively discussed (regularly). In addition to this, the Mayor engages with other pages that comment on his socials ... just not ours it seems ... and this can be evidenced.

❌We have now been completely blocked from the Mayor’s social media platforms.

In addition to these attempts to communicate with the Mayor, we have 👇

🔘Sent formal emails and letters outlining reasonable questions
🔘Invited the Mayor and all Councillors to attend our public meetings
🔘Formally requested a meeting with the CEO
🔘Acted on written advice from the Deputy Premier to seek engagement with Council and the Mayor

Despite these efforts, all avenues of communication appear to have been closed.

📝As a registered and incorporated association, we have committed significant time, resources, and funding to represent our community ... including compliance costs, public liability insurance, venue hire, and community outreach expenses.

🗣 We continue to receive strong and growing support from the Logan community, with thousands of residents positively engaging with us and contributing to this conversation ... and our association membership numbers growing by the day.

We remain committed to respectful, constructive dialogue and continue to seek an opportunity to engage directly. The disrespect to our committee and our association has come from known associates of the Mayor, including his Chief of Staff via her personal social media comments in a Facebook group recently ... of which can be evidenced.

Mayor Raven, we have been advised by many that you watch our socials and this is supported by the many posts that you have made to your own socials which seem to mention topics, right after we mention them ... so we respectfully ask you one last time... how can we communicate with you❓

We have continually felt the need to defend ourselves from the disrespectful and unreasonable personal attacks from you and your known associates ... and we are no longer going to do that 🙅‍♀️

The fact is that we have tried to communicate with you, we have tried to get you to speak with us ... multiple times.

Please understand that we will continue to advocate for our community and ensure their voices are heard ... with or without you.
