Just a little update ✨

As some of you may know just before I left on MAT leave to welcome our lovely Sylvie Mae, we had some water damage to the Studio, unfortunately fixing that has become a bigger project than planned and so my return to work is going to be delayed just a liiiiittle more.

But don’t stress! I will be back soon and ready to welcome you all in 🫶🏼

In the meantime I’m enjoying this unexpected time with my family and adapting to the new chaos.

What is a lamination maintenance?

• A treatment we do in the middle of your 8 week wait between lamis. Designed to give you that fresh brow feeling as well as nourishing your brow hairs to encourage health and in turn, longer lasting lami results!

What’s involved?

• Most people will do a Lami maintenance at the 4 week mark, you will have a gentle exfoliating brow scrub, a super nourishing conditioning treatment and your choice of brow tint followed by a wax to maintain your shape and finished up with a hydrating serum. This all will ensure those brows are in optimum condition to be laminated again without damage next time!

• It is important to remember that even a well looked after lamination will only last until your hairs grow out, this is why if you look closely at this picture you’ll see only some hairs are still laminated, the others are all new growth which is what we want to see! As you get closer to the 8 week mark you’ll slowly see less and less hairs laying perfectly flat but it is a good sign that your brows are still healthy and are ready for another lami!

Everyone’s brows are different and your individual results will depend on your hair growth, texture and aftercare practices.

With years of experience with her skin type, we chose a technique and pigment that would fade naturally while giving her the full, effortless look she craves. Now she wakes up every day with perfect brows and only needs occasional waxes!

New Year, New Plans ✨

As we welcome in another New Year at Studio Juna we are also welcoming in another year of exciting new changes!

As my regulars will know our opening hours are quite flexible throughout the year in order to suit the needs of the majority of clients as well as the ever changing work/life balance needed on our side.

We are starting this year with a new set of opening hours including new days available and extra hours (including after hours spots!). These days will aim to be consistent until about mid year when Amelia will be having a small period of time off (IYKYK), and then will be returning to the same hours for the remainder of the year.

Michelle will also be taking a small amount of time off in February for medical reasons and will be returning as soon as possible, so during that time Amelia will be taking on all of Michelle’s tanning clients to ensure no one misses out!

Thank you to all our incredible clients for another beautiful year of sharing not only brows and beauty, but also so many magical life moments with us. We can’t wait to watch all of your growth (brows and personal) this year as well as sharing ours with you!

Did you know your brows benefit from your skincare routine? ✨ Cleansing, exfoliating and moisturising your skin (and brows) routinely is the first step to glowing and growing! BUT please avoid retinols, AHAs and other chemical exfoliants around the brow area 2 weeks before your appointment or you could be subjecting yourself to skin lifting when we wax. Gentle physical exfoliant the day before your appointment is the safest option and don’t forget to make your brow oil a part of your daily skincare routine too! 🧖‍♀️
