6 YEARS OF THE BODY PALETTE 🤍✨

Whilst we were away travelling, The Body Palette quietly celebrated its 6th birthday.

Six years of this little space filled with conversations, laughter, tears, celebrations, quiet moments and so many different chapters of life being shared in this room.

When I first created this space, I knew I wanted it to be somewhere women could come and feel held.

A place where you could arrive carrying the weight of the day and, for a little while, simply put it down.

But as I reflect on this milestone, I’ve realised something too…

This space holds me as well. 🤍

The Body Palette has become my safe space. A place where I feel connected, grounded and completely myself.

I get to hold space for so many beautiful women, but in so many ways, you hold space for me too.

Every booking, every conversation, every woman who continues to choose my little business has helped create something that means so much more to me than just a salon.

It has become a community. A place of connection. A place where we can all slow down for a moment.

So, six years in, I just want to say thank you.

Thank you for trusting me, sharing your stories, allowing me into your self-care rituals, and helping create a space that feels safe for both of us.

Here’s to The Body Palette, six years in and everything still to come. 🥂🤍

French tips with a little bow moment 🎀🤍

A busy first week back in the salon and I’m absolutely loving being back in my space, doing what I love.

Fresh nails, lashes, skin & a whole lot of self-care happening around here ✨

POSTCARDS FROM THE ROAD 🤍🚐

We’re home.

After four weeks of travelling through Far North Queensland, we’re slowly settling back into home life, what a journey it has been.

When we left, I had every intention of sharing so much more along the way… but life on the road was busy, disconnected and full of moments that felt much more important to experience than to post. Amongst the testing waters of travelling with two toddlers under 2

So I arrive and land back at home, I wanted to share a little collection of some of our favourite places, moments and memories from the trip. 🌿☀️ but ask me tomorrow there may be some different ones, it truly was a trip of my heart, one I’ve curated for a long time.

This adventure gave us so much, beautiful places, family time, plenty of lessons, a few road mishaps 😉 and lots of moments to simply slow down and be present much to our children’s despair 😂

And now, we’re home, I rest, I’m SO ready to be back in my treatment room. After today I realised my salon space is my safe haven, that saying “you never work a day in the job you love” something like that. Well I felt it. Holding space for you all. I stepped out of a 90 minute facial and it’s the most relaxed I’ve been in weeks 😂😂

Fresh towels, a reset space and a very excited me ready to hold space for you all again.

Thank you for being here while I took on this massive journey, and thank you to every woman who has continued to support my small business while I was away.

I’m home and ready to see you. 🤍

Personally my favourite upgrade to the set up is this easy access self care station 🍃

Sometimes the best way to care for others is to first refill your own cup. Over the next four weeks I’ll be exploring beautiful Far North Queensland, finding inspiration in nature, slowing down, and soaking up precious family time. I’ll still be popping in here at times im not driving 😂 to take you along for the ride. 🤍

Day 1-3 and today was by far our favourite, we are starting to settle in with life on the road. Agnes water Sunset ☀️ experience Country through the eyes of the Gooreng Gooreng, Gurang, Taribelang Bunda and Bailai peoples Elders.

One of my favourite things about travelling is that self-care doesn’t have to stop just because we’re on the road.

I’ve stocked up on my trusted Natural Look skincare range, and it will be coming with us on every adventure. Whether we’re camped by the beach, tucked away in the rainforest, or pulling up at a free camp, I’ll still be taking a few moments each day to look after my skin.

Back in the salon, these are the products I trust and love using and now they’ll be part of our travels too.

Because no matter where life takes you, taking care of yourself is always worth making time for. 🤍🌿
