I lost my mum 8 years ago, and like every year since, this is not an easy day for me. I feel both grief and happiness at the same time — grateful that I became a mum, while also mourning the fact that my mum never got to know my son, and that he will never know how amazing she was.

She was the kindest, most compassionate, and loving mum I could ever have asked for.

And I will do my very best to be that kind of mum for my son too.

Happy Mothers Day to all women

Who are mum
Who lost their children
Who lost their mum
Who still yearning to be mum
Who are mum to be

Today, I'm sharing my story of self-discovery and healing. Having overcome substance abuse, I prioritized my well-being and discovered the healing power of food. Starting with a vegetarian diet, I noticed improvements in my mental clarity and energy. As I progressed, I incorporated yoga into my lifestyle after studying in India, which further enhanced my well-being. But when I experienced the devastating loss of my parents, my body struggled to cope, leading to health issues. Through research, I found natural healing methods and made significant dietary changes. I Did 30 days of raw vegan diet which helped heal a specific problem( precancerous cells). But later, when facing infertility issues, I have been forced to adapt my diet again to a keto lifestyle, which is the very opposite of vegetarianism. Although it really challenged my previous beliefs, this change finally helped me conceive my son Theo and I finally fixed my IBS and inflammation by removing carbs and fruit.

My journey has taught me that everyone's path is unique, and it's essential to listen to your body and remain open-minded.

Have you been forced to change your believe system through serious health challenges?

Living in a holiday destination like Bondi Beach can be idyllic, but as a new mum without nearby family, loneliness was a struggle. Initially, my mothers' group was a lifesaver, but when it ended, I discovered a fantastic community at Bondi Beach playgroups. When scheduling conflicts arose, I took the leader's advice and began volunteering on my own, which has been transformative. Volunteering here has given me purpose and connection. I've met incredible mums, and we share a beautiful bond. Now, I'm part of a vibrant community that makes parenting feel less isolating. As they say, it takes a village to raise a child, and I'm grateful to have found mine.
Being part of a community is also crucial for our health, regulating our nervous system and mental health.
Have you considered volunteering in any area?
Even with many friends and family around, giving to strangers without expectation feels so different.

Volunteering is also part of Yoga called Karma yoga- Selfless service without any expectations with compassion and connection.

Benefits of volunteering:

Boosts self esteem and confidence
Increases happiness: Acts of kindness trigger the release of dopamine and oxytocin.
Reduces stress and anxiety: Engaging in meaningful activities helps shift focus from personal worries.
Promotes a sense of purpose: Especially valuable during life transitions (e.g., after childbirth, career change, or retirement)
Builds connections and community
Reduces feelings of isolation
Enhances communications and team work skills
And many more…
Feel free to DM if you have any questions on volunteering :)
Or share your volunteering experience bellow⬇️

Thank you so much to ❤️❤️❤️

I'd like to reintroduce myself as my life has taken some significant turns over the years, shifting what I share with you. Initially, this space was dedicated to yoga insights and teachings after completing my training in India. While yoga remains a huge part of my life, navigating health challenges, coping with loss, and starting a family has broadened my interests. I'm now passionate about nutrition and natural remedies, and I'm looking forward to sharing what has helped me on my journey, as well as what hasn't.

My family life will also make an appearance occasionally as that’s big part of my life now.

Happy Mother’s Day to all those who carry the love of a Mother in their hearts.

To mother’s who’ve lost children.
To mother’s who’ve lost pregnancies.
To those who’ve lost mother’s.
To those who dream of being a mother.

I lost my mum 6 years ago. Still I miss her every single day and it’s probably never gonna change❤️ she is the best example of kindness, compassion and love for me. Last year I become a mum too after few previous losses. Im grateful for this amazing journey of transformation, growth and reflection on myself. The journey is often not easy but that’s what is growth and expansion, learning how to be resilient , strong and soft at the same time, caring for others and myself.

I lost my mum 5 years ago which was of course devastating for me. My mum was my best friend, always supporting me on my path. She taught me what unconditional love is, what compassion is, what kindness is. I'm so grateful to have her as my mum guiding me through life and for becoming the person who I am today. Now after some difficult times of infertility I'm about to become a mum myself and I'll do my best to be the mum she was for me ❤️

Reflection.

When I saw this photo I had this profound moment when suddenly tears came out and I saw my whole life in front of me, all my struggles and all my wins. I felt grateful.

Without those experiences I wouldn’t be who I am today. It wasn’t easy to go through all the difficulties as drugs abuse, health problems, loss of parents, toxic relationships and infertility. But all those struggles lead me to all my wins like living in different countries, changing carrier paths, meeting amazing people, fulfilling my dreams and most importantly getting on the path of yoga and finding the purpose of my life.
I would like to acknowledge both my failures and my achievements as they are equally important and responsible for who I am today.

At first I felt ashamed for my weaknesses/mistakes but now I know that every negative experience make me stronger, more confident, compassionate, kind, open minded, loving, understanding of cultural differences and believe systems.
Everyone have their own struggles and walking their own path.
I am proud of who I become.

All my health issues inspired me to go beyond western medical system and question everything.
All my losses taught me what is grief and how to deal with it.
My struggles at work inspired me to completely change my carrier and re-evaluate my priorities.
My addiction eventually lead me to finding my independence and freedom overseas, but also compassion and kindness towards others.
I learnt to take responsibility for my life and understand that only I can change my life. No one else can do it for me.
There are opportunities all around us, always available to us, there is always a choice how we perceive our life and what we focus on.

I’m grateful for all the people who came in to my life and let me experience whatever I needed to experience whether it was good or bad.
I’m grateful for all the past and future opportunities to grow.

Thank you to the amazing photographer for this photo🙏🏻😇

I guess we all sometimes get trapped in obsessive thinking when things go wrong. Naturally we try to stop the thought which doesn't feel good, which is often impossible as we just bring more focus on things which we don't want.
I find very helpful to just turn my focus on something which feels good, something i can get excited about, learning a new skill, going for holiday, reading an uplifting book, meeting with inspiring people or doing something creative etc.
It is a skill. To be able to change neural pathways in your brain we need to practice thinking the thoughts which feels good.
