Every injury is a chapter that has to be rewritten. As a Massage Therapist, I've been helping my patients since 2016

At Bondi Sports Massage, our goal is to tackle the pain and its cause, helping you rebuild strength and get the most out of your recovery.

The last year taught me more than the five before it. Moving, starting again, building something from nothing. It forced us to get honest about what we actually wanted this clinic to be, and to do it properly this time.

No shortcuts. Just the work: painting walls, picking every piece, getting the details right one by one.

We’re better for it. Better treatment, better space, better experience for everyone who walks through that door. #
Thank you! You kept showing up and supporting us!!

Here’s to the next year. 🙏

Does foam rolling actually work? Mostly, it calms your nervous system and takes the edge off short term: it's not changing the length of your tissue. Still a great pre-training habit, just don't expect it to fix the underlying cause on its own.

This isn’t a relaxation massage. Sports and remedial massage is targeted, assessment-led, and built around getting you back to training, not just feeling good for an hour. Different goal, different approach.

That satisfying crack? It's just gas releasing in the joint, not damage, and not a "fix" either. It doesn't put anything back into place. Real, lasting change comes from consistent strength and mobility work, not a quick pop.

What are we actually feeling for under our hands? Restriction, guarding, tissue that isn’t gliding the way it should. That’s what tells us where to spend time and which technique to reach for next, it’s not a set routine, it adapts to what’s in front of us.

Sore after leg day? Normal DOMS peaks at 24–48 hours and eases as you move. What's not normal: sharp, localised pain, swelling, or soreness that hasn't shifted after 3-4 days; that's when it's worth getting checked rather than pushing through.

Most sessions aren’t just one technique on repeat. We’ll move between hands-on work, trigger point therapy, cupping or needling depending on what the tissue is telling us in real time. The combination is the point, each tool does something a bit different, and together they get you further than any one on its own.

Calf cramps waking you up at night are usually a training load and hydration story, not just bad luck. Easing volume for a few days, checking your fluids and electrolytes, and a gentle calf stretch before bed all help settle it down quickly.

Dry Needling Bondi Junction: 6 Myths We Hear Every Week (And What's Actually True) Dry needling gets more misinformed opinions thrown at it than almost anything else we do in the clinic. Some people won't try it because they've heard it's dangerous or pointless. Others show up expecting it to fix a six-month-old injury in one session. Both are wrong, and both get in the way of peo...

There’s a difference between a massage and treatment. A massage feels nice for an hour. Treatment changes how your body moves for the week. We do the second one. Assessment, the right technique for your issue, and a plan you can actually follow. Decade-plus experience across the team, and it shows.
