Good morning and happy Wednesday 😊

It's been a while since I've felt "myself" due to the dreaded Covid virus that came to visit last Monday and made itself right at home in my system!

What felt like a simple head cold turned quickly into an attack on my body.
The tightness in my head was like nothing I've ever experienced before and settled right in there for most of the week. This lead to bed rest for 4 days straight and could only manage the basic things.
This along with other symptoms like a cough, tightness in my chest and blocked sinuses that seemed to never end and still aren't quite right.

It's certainly been a journey I wish to never repeat.

My body is still so fatigued. The simplest of tasks take it right out of me and back to bed.

This morning is the first one that I have woken up feeling somewhat normal and cannot thank those of you enough for your kind words, text messages, offers of help and deliveries of medications etc ❤️

They say that when you're down you find out who your friends really are.

Sadly, this is quite true.

I have been surprised at who has stepped up and who didn't.

So here I am, on the mend and feeling grateful.

I will be pretty much working through Christmas other than the main days.

My holiday this year was bed rest 😌

Please keep an eye out on the booking system as my normal hours and days may change here and there.

I'm not going to push myself to do more than I can, so may spread myself out throughout the up and coming weeks.

I am heartbroken to say that I will remain closed for possibly the remainder of this week…

Unfortunately, I am still testing positive and have been quite unwell since last Monday.
My partner has now also tested positive for COVID-19.

It is my responsibility to ensure that everyone stays safe and well.

Oh Sunday... it really must be my most favourite day 😊

What's your favourite day?

Sunday for me is a true day off.
Washing has all been done and the day is available for me to do whatever I want before the towel folding begins and get ready for the week ahead.

I have a the Velocette Motorcycle club's annual Christmas lunch today at the beautiful Rose Cottage, from there I'll pop into the wonderful for a wander.

It's a glorious day here and I plan on making the most of it.
