PSA- Microba price rise incoming from 1st September. The test I most commonly use, the Comprehensive, is going up from $485 to $549.
Also- I still have a handful of codes for 20% off Microba testing, which expire on 2nd September.
If you're interested let me know and I can refer you for the test and provide the discount - please note you'll need to have had an initial consultation with me so I have your details for the referral; and we'll need a review consultation to discuss the results together.
Make sure you get your referrals in and kits paid for by the end of August!

My face after supervising my learner driver eldest for the first time...!

I had plenty of great tips before jumping into the passenger seat but I do wonder how long it will take getting used to not having control of the car....I did find myself pushing my imaginary brake pedal a few times, and leaning side to side as if that would give a bit more space to parked cars. I think I'm going to dose myself with some kava and l-theanine before the next session!
7 hours out of 120 done, 6 weeks until the 18th. A bit behind 'schedule' but it will happen in good time.

Honestly I'm not quite sure where the years have gone, it truly does feel like I blinked, and here we are....

Every week I'm blessed to be able to take my mum out for a spin- usually coffee/lunch + an opshop. Today we ventured further afield to the Money Madness warehouse in Dandenong South.

They have Amazon overstocks/clearance/short dated stuff. The vibe is kind of like upmarket opshop meets TK Maxx clearance ends, but a whole warehouse of that.

A great selection of books, health food items, low tox products, even cast iron/stainless steel cookware!
Here's a few snaps of some of my newly acquired goods. Check out the prices!

A question I'm often asked is 'Should I bring my child to their initial naturopathy consultation'?
And honestly, my answer to that is 'it's up to you'.

Often I'm being asked this because you may be concerned about how your child will cope during the 60 minute appointment.
Usually you're coming in to see me (in person or online!) because there's something that is a struggle for your child. It can be hard to discuss those things with them in earshot.
I try super hard to keep the appointment positive and strengths-based, so it means we may need to speak in 'code', pause often for breaks/resettling/snacks- and that is all a-ok by me, and I'm very used to it.

However, some parents/carers can find it difficult to focus and concentrate, and convey what they would like to.
If there's something you want me to see, like a rash/lump/bump then you can show or send me photos of the affected area, and also videos as well for anything else of concern- behaviours, coughs, etc.
If the option is there to bring a support person with you, then that can be useful as if your child let's us know they've had enough, they can go for a wander while you can stay and fill me in on everything that you'd like me to know.
Generally return consultations being 30 minutes are much more kid friendly due to the shorter duration.

As a paediatric focused naturopath I'm used to working in all the fun and chaos that goes with supporting families, so please know that children are very welcome at the clinic. I just wanted to clear this one up since I get asked this question weekly- tldr;- do what works best for your family- you know your child best!

A limited-time offer on gut microbiome testing- 20% off Microba's Microbiome Explorer stool testing for a short time.

This is clinical-grade testing, not a basic stool test. It maps your gut microbiome, digestive function markers, and inflammation, all backed by peer-reviewed research, giving us a much clearer picture of what's driving your pesky symptoms.

To make sure the test is used well and the results are properly interpreted for your situation, this discount is available to:
✔️ Existing patients, or
✔️ New patients who've completed an initial consultation with me

If you've been curious about what's going on with your gut, now's a good time to look into it.

Offer ends 2nd September 2026. Limited spots available- please email [email protected] as I'm only able to offer 10 discounted tests and will refer on a first-come, first-served basis.

I’ve recently streamlined my treatment menu to make booking simpler and easier to navigate- those of you eagle eyed regulars will notice that instead of having separate sessions for pregnancy; and then relaxation/remedial, I've now changed it up so that all you need to do is book either a 'New Client Massage' if I haven't seen you before, or, choose a 45/60/75/90 minute session if you're an existing client. Less clutter to scroll through at the time of booking!

There has also been a small price increase applied across all appointment types, effective 1st July.

Soon I'll be adding hot stone massage to the treatment menu- I'm just waiting on the hot stone heater, and more importantly, the basalt stones to arrive.
