One thing I LOVE about being in this industry for a very long time is watching everything you’ve been doing for years suddenly become trendy again.
Old-school facials are back! 🙌
Beautiful pampering, proper relaxation, gorgeous skin and actually taking time to switch off.
Apparently we were onto something. 😂
But that’s what I still love about beauty therapy. One minute I’m creating a little facial zen, the next I’m waxing, tinting, painting nails, doing makeup or giving tired feet some much-needed love.
No two days have the same routine.
New faces walk through the door, familiar faces come back for a catch-up, and somehow the day disappears.
After all these years, I still genuinely love what I do.
Turns out old school never really went out of style… it just needed the internet to rediscover it. 😂💚

You finish a big day at work, walk outside and the sky is STILL LIGHT!
There’s time to get home, potter around, get a few jobs done and pretend you’ve suddenly become one of those highly productive people. 😂
BUT DEAR LORD…
My body takes at least TWO WEEKS to recover from that one little hour change. 🤪
My brain: “Look at all this extra daylight!”
My body: “We have been betrayed.”
Give me strength… and possibly a nap. 🐶😴😂

Nothing makes me smile more than getting a message from a gorgeous client, especially when their nails match their favourite Yeti bottle.
From clean crisp indoor nails to nails that have been outside in the garden. I LOVE seeing our polish survive the everyday adventures.

💚 Dementia Awareness Week | 21–27 September, 2026 💚
I’ve been blessed not to have experienced dementia firsthand, but I have people I care about very much who have been confronted by this awful disease.
To watch someone you admire, look up to and lean on slowly disappear in front of your eyes would be nothing short of devastating. 💔
So, on Monday 21st September, we’re putting a little Siva love towards a very important cause and raising funds for Dementia Australia at our Bowral salon.
🌿 Mini Colour Analysis – $50
The full $50 will be donated to Dementia Australia.
💄 Mini Makeover – $80
$50 from each booking will be donated.
✨ Spray Tan – $45
$25 from each tan will be donated.

Such sad news yesterday, losing such a wonderful energy from this world. ❤️
Dolly truly showed us that kindness, hard work, staying true to yourself and perhaps sometimes just minding your own business are all very good things to do.
Whenever I was asked to describe the essence of Siva, my answer was always, “Do you know that fabulous movie Steel Magnolias?” That’s the vibe.
A place where you can simply be you. Where you can have a great conversation, sort out the world for a little while, laugh, cry, be completely honest and most importantly, feel loved and cared for.
One of my favourite lines from Steel Magnolias is “laughter through tears” because really, isn’t that the very best kind of laughter?
Thank you, Dolly, for being Dolly. For showing us that you can be strong, kind, hardworking, funny and completely yourself.
You will be very, very missed. 🌸❤️
