Yes, the very same Emma who started with us as a fresh-faced, school-based apprentice – all sweet and innocent, butter-wouldn’t-melt… Fast forward a few years and she’s an absolute SLAPPER—wait, sorry, TROOPER 🤭
Emma has been the kind of team member that’s rare and golden—loyal, hardworking, endlessly supportive, and just the right amount of sass. Lloyd and I have been lucky to have her constant presence over the years, and we’re not the only ones! Ask anyone who’s worked with Emma and you’ll hear the same: she’s an icon and a very loud storyteller 🤫
She’s the first to step in when help is needed, whether it’s rinsing a client in record speed or jumping on a colour like a ninja. It may seem like just “everyday” stuff—but in salon life, that’s the stuff that keeps the wheels turning. Emma, we are so lucky you’re part of our Perci family now, and even luckier to call you our friend. Thank you for everything you bring—your kindness, your hustle, your chaos and your heart. Coming together under one roof to form a single West End hair fashion destination that will tick all the boxes. Kind of like when Ariana and Cynthia teamed up in Wicked — it was a hard YES for us right from the onset.

This partnership brings together one of Brisbane’s most trusted names in hairdressing, David Murry Salon, with 14 years under its belt, and the energy and enthusiasm of the new kid on the block, Perci Salon — by no means a light weight when it comes to bringing the vibes. Together, they offer clients an elevated salon experience steeped in creativity, expertise and luxury.

Combining the ethos of DMS — a salon experience in a fashionable, cultured and ego-free environment — with Perci’s belief that objects, places, creatures, and people all possess a distinctly unique spiritual essence, this union will promote self-care and the belief that the power of personal style and wellness facilitates the manifestation of fabulous people.
