Maria’s journey has always been shaped by movement, discipline and a deep understanding of the body.

Growing up in Bulgaria, she trained from a young age at a traditional Russian ballet school, where precision, body awareness and respect for movement became second nature. This foundation carried her across the world through more than 12 years as a professional performer — from the Vienna State Opera to international circus and aerial productions, live television and two round-the-world cruise contracts.

Years spent working alongside athletes and performers gave Maria an intimate understanding of what the body carries, how it adapts, and how important skilled touch and recovery are for maintaining both movement and longevity. This ultimately led her into massage and bodywork.

Maria trained and qualified as a medical massage therapist in Austria, with studies encompassing remedial massage, trigger point therapy, lymphatic drainage, meridian treatment and foot reflexology.

Her approach is holistic and intuitive. Rather than focusing only on the area that hurts, Maria looks at the body as a connected system and creates treatments designed to restore balance, ease tension and help clients feel more at home in their bodies.

Her years on stage continue to influence the way she works today — bringing presence, precision, genuine care and an instinctive ability to read the body.

Maria has a particular love for foot reflexology, appreciating how work through the feet can influence and connect with the entire body.

Above all, she believes movement and balance are fundamental to a long, healthy life. Her work is centred not simply around feeling better today, but supporting strength, mobility, recovery and wellbeing for the years ahead.

Nothing replaces skilled hands, proper touch, and the ability to actually read a body.

My work is a mix-and-match of techniques, intuition, anatomy, movement and nearly 20 years of experience working with the human body — all coming together differently depending on what’s in front of me.

So yes, I use needles. I love them.
But they’re part of the art — not the main piece of my craft.

Because the magic isn’t in the needle.
It’s in knowing what to do before it goes in… and what to do after it comes out. 🤌🔥
