Day 3 of training and learning something new is still one of my favourite parts of this industry.

Because no matter how experienced or skilled you become, there’s always another layer to uncover, another perspective to explore and something that makes you look at your work differently.

Three days of visual training, so much skin science, barrier knowledge and plenty of those little “aha!” moments. 🧠✨

And honestly… I’m having so much fun with it.

Always learning. Always evolving. Always curious. 🤍

A little behind-the-scenes confession…

I recorded this video three times.

Deleted all three.

I was trying to remember everything I wanted to say, trying to sound composed, trying not to fumble my words and suddenly something I know and talk about quite naturally became much harder to say to a camera.

And yes… I’m wearing my glasses. 😂
But I wasn’t reading from a script.

This is actually the first time I’ve really put myself on camera to talk about the things I’ve spent years learning and experiencing through my work with skin.

So I’m posting it.

Not because it’s perfect.

But because I think there’s something important in reminding ourselves, especially as therapists - that we don’t need to know everything perfectly before we share what we genuinely know and continue to learn.

Our education, our experience, our curiosity and the questions we keep asking all become part of how we grow.

So this is me, starting.

A significant day in history.
And a significant day in my own.

On 15 August 2012, I opened the door to my own business for the first time.

Today, 14 years later, I’m still learning, still questioning, still refining, and now building something that has been learned over the years, my skin science series.

Different chapter.
Same door I chose to open. 🦚

Some dates mark where you came from. Some remind you why you kept going.
