BIG THANKYOU, to everybody who has kindly and generously donated to these shelters over the last couple of weeks.❤️🐶

Now that Winter is upon us, I’d like to ask for a little help in collecting much needed donation items for the ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE OF QUEENSLAND, both for our local Willawong location, and also Ipswich.

As usual, I will have the New Yellow Lid Bin, kindly donated by the Council, at the front gate of my home at 62 Dickman Rd Forestdale
every day for the next 3 weeks.
I would be so grateful if folks could assist with much needed items aiding the hard working people at these centres, to make the lives of the fur Babies at these Rescue centres just a little more comfortable during their stay there. They are truly the most helpless and deserving.
I’ve been told by staff that they would appreciate any kind of assistance, but particularly need any of the following:

ANY WARM BEDDING ITEMS (Please No Doona’s)
Dog/Cat JACKETS
HOT-WATER BOTTLES
TOWELS
CAT LITTER
PET TOYS
TINNED FOOD
DRY FOOD
PUPPY PADS

ANY thing is appreciated, please have a rummage in your linen closet /shed/garage for any old towels or blankets…preferably clean.

NOTE: I am not collecting money, if you’d like to make a donation then please consider just purchasing any of the items above and drop them in the Collection Bin. Also $$ donations direct to the centres would be perfect too.
Op shops are great places to start for items if you would like to help, but don’t have anything at home. 😀
