Just wanted to say the biggest thank you to all of our beautiful clients who have been so patient, kind and understanding while I’ve been completely knocked off my feet with vertigo this week.

Having to reschedule appointments is the absolute last thing I ever want to do, so your lovely messages and flexibility have meant more than you know. 🥹

I’m resting up and doing everything I can to get back behind the chair as soon as possible. In the meantime, my amazing girls are holding down the fort. 🤍

A little well-deserved pampering for the girls who give so much to Studio K 🤎✨

Taking the team out and spoiling them will forever be one of my favourite things to do. These girls aren’t just the people who work for me — they are such a huge part of what makes Studio K what it is.

They show up, work hard, support one another, care about our clients, keep learning, keep growing and bring so much energy into the salon every single week. And I never want that to go unnoticed.

I truly believe that when you have good people, you appreciate them, invest in them, celebrate them and remind them how valued they are. A business might have one owner, but it takes an incredible team to make it successful. 🥹🤍

So today was about switching off, being pampered, having a few bubbles and celebrating these beautiful girls and everything they bring to Studio K.

THIS is why custom colouring extensions is a whole different skill set. 🤎✨

Going from a bright, dimensional blonde to this rich, expensive brunette wasn’t simply a case of “colouring the extensions darker.”

Every piece had to be considered individually to make sure the finished result blended seamlessly with her natural hair.

We custom coloured the extensions using intricate gel lowlights, carefully placed to recreate the depth and dimension we needed, then finished with a root smudge so there was absolutely no obvious transition between her natural hair and the extensions.

This kind of work is SLOW. It’s detailed. It’s calculated. And it takes a serious understanding of colour placement because once you’re custom colouring extension hair, there is very little room for error.

The goal was never one flat brunette shade — it was movement, ribbons of dimension, softness and a completely seamless blend from root to end.

And THAT result… 🤌🏽🤎
