Comprehensive weight-management care doesn’t have to come with a monthly membership fee.

At Downscale, your care is individualised and clinician-led — but the support available to you doesn’t stop when your appointment ends.

After your first appointment, you’ll receive complimentary access to the Downscale portal, where we’ve built a growing collection of resources to help support you in everyday life.

Nutrition and education resources.
Recipes.
Water, nutrition and movement tracking.
Tools to help you build habits.
The Do Today app.
Our virtual receptionist, Bec.
And new resources added regularly.

It’s there to help you between appointments, when real life is actually happening.

And you don’t need to pay a compulsory monthly subscription to access it.

When you need clinical follow-up, you book with your Downscale clinician. Between those appointments, the portal and its resources remain there to support you.

Comprehensive care. Ongoing support. No compulsory subscription.

Because we want to invest in helping our patients succeed — not in locking them into a membership.

New patients welcome Australia-wide via telehealth.

If “eat less, move more” was all you needed to hear, you probably wouldn’t still be looking for answers.

Because chances are, you already know the basics.

You know nutrition matters.
You know movement matters.
You know sleep matters.

The more useful question is:

What is making weight management difficult for YOU?

Appetite. Food noise. Stress. Sleep. Hormonal changes. Medical conditions. Medications. Your environment. Your relationship with food. Your lifestyle. Your history.

There can be a lot more going on than simply knowing what you “should” be doing.

That’s why good weight management care looks at the whole person, not just the number on the scale.

At Downscale, we want to understand what’s happening for you, what you’ve tried before, what the evidence tells us, and what is actually going to be realistic in your life.

Because you probably don’t need another person telling you to “just try harder.”

You need care that actually looks at the bigger picture.

New patient appointments are currently available Australia-wide via telehealth.

Had a weekend where things didn’t quite go to plan?

Welcome to being a human.

One of the most useful skills in long-term weight management isn’t being perfect at sticking to a plan.

It’s learning how to keep going when you don’t.

No compensating. No punishing yourself. No waiting until Monday. No deciding you’ve ruined everything and may as well keep going.

Have your next meal. Drink some water. Move your body if it feels good. Get some sleep.

Then carry on.

Because sustainable weight management has to leave room for weekends, birthdays, holidays, stressful weeks, dinners out and actual life.

You don’t need to start again. You can just continue.

Hunger and food noise can overlap- but they’re not necessarily the same experience.

Hunger is a normal biological signal that your body needs energy.

Food noise is a term people often use to describe persistent or intrusive thoughts about food- thinking about what you’ll eat next, negotiating with yourself about food, cravings, rules, guilt or feeling like food occupies far more mental space than you’d like.

And neither is a moral failing.

Appetite and eating behaviour are complex, which is exactly why weight management needs to look beyond simply telling someone to “eat less.”

Understanding what you’re experiencing is part of understanding what support might actually help.

Weight management is about more than the number on the scale.

Ever feel like your brain has 39 tabs open…and 12 of them are about food?

What am I having for lunch?
Should I eat that?
Why did I eat that?
What am I having for dinner?
I’ll be “good” tomorrow…

People often describe this constant mental chatter around food as food noise.

And while “food noise” isn’t a formal medical diagnosis, the experience behind the term can be very real.

Appetite, cravings and eating behaviour are complex. Sleep, stress, environment, habits, eating patterns, hormones and physiology can all play a part.

That’s why weight management shouldn’t begin and end with telling someone what to eat.

Sometimes we need to understand what’s happening around food, too.

Because food takes up enough space on your plate. It doesn’t need to take up your entire head 🤍

You’ve been thinking about it.

You’ve been researching. Saving posts. Trying to work out what actually applies to you amongst all the noise online.

Maybe you’re ready to actually talk to someone.

At Downscale, your care starts with a one-on-one appointment with an experienced clinician who will take the time to understand you — your health, your history, what you’ve tried before and what you actually need.

No lock-in contracts. No compulsory monthly subscription.

And after your first appointment, you’ll also have complimentary access to the Downscale portal and our growing library of tools, trackers, recipes, education and support resources.

We’re a small Australian telehealth clinic, and we currently have appointments available.

If you’re ready, we’re ready. 🤍
