We asked our team what they never skip. Not one of them said a 10 step routine.

SPF, even indoors. Water. Cleansing off the day, every night. Protein in every meal. A pillow they actually invested in.

Small habits. Done daily. That's the whole secret.

Which one are you already doing? Tell us below.

Reminders you didn't ask for but need.

Pillowcase. Neck and chest. Moisturiser even if you're oily. Brushes actually washed, not just rinsed.

None of it's glamorous. All of it works.

Which one are you guilty of skipping? Tell me below.

Microneedling doesn't hurt. Opening the front camera by accident though? That will definitely hurt.

Not all dark spots are the same. Which is exactly why yours might not be budging.

☀️ Sun damage: years of UV, on the spots that cop the most light.

🌙 Melasma: hormonal and inflammatory, driven from the inside. Flared by heat, not just sun.

🩹 Post-breakout marks: pink or purple is vascular, brown is pigment. Different beasts.

Different cause, different pathway. What helps one can aggravate another. It's why "I tried a brightening serum and nothing happened" is the most common thing we hear.

And if it flares every Brisbane summer: once the UV index hits 3 (most days here), SPF is non-negotiable. Overcast days, indoors near windows, all of it. UVA goes straight through glass.

Can pigment be managed in a high-UV climate? Yes. It just starts with knowing which type you're actually dealing with.

NES, but make it personal ~

The gals behind your appointments also have camera rolls full of family selfies, dinners worth photographing and all the ordinary little moments in between.

So here’s a small glimpse of life lately for the NES team ~ because we think knowing the people behind the clinic matters too.
