𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞, widely known as the Sydney GPO, is a heritage-listed landmark that began construction in 1866 under colonial architect James Barnet. Its Pyrmont sandstone façade, stretching 114 meters along Martin Place, remains one of the finest examples of Victorian Italian Renaissance architecture in New South Wales.

At the historic COMO The Treasury in Perth, the lighting upgrade needed to balance long-term reliability with the preservation of the building’s heritage character.

Due to challenging site conditions and exposure to moisture around the original installation, the project required a robust inground solution capable of delivering consistent performance over time with minimal maintenance.

Lumascape Evoca LED EV4 (LS393LED) inground uplights were selected for their IP68-rated construction, durability, and tailored optical performance. The upgraded scheme enhances the texture and architectural detail of the façade while providing a dependable solution suited to the demands of the environment.

Illuminating architecture of this scale requires more than visibility; it demands precision, restraint, and an understanding of how light reveals texture, depth, and form after dark.
