I love Rothko because I love brushstrokes, the way certain pigment opacities play together, and the visible hand of the artist. while I don’t go “full method”, having studied art makes sets like this *a little* more insane, gratifying and ultimately fun for me (us??) >> screenshots of the excerpts that were color inspo… format was more, well based on each canvas ;)
